Available Effects:
| Effect | Description |
|---|---|
| Blindness | You can only see a few blocks far |
| Confusion (Nausea) | Same effect after leaving a portal |
| Hunger | The hungerbar empties faster |
| Lifesteal | The monster steals your health |
| Poison | You get a poison |
| Slow | You move slower |
| Slow digging | You dig slower |
| Steal | The monster steals one of your items |
| Weakness | You make less damage |
| Critical hit | Increases the damage to you |
| Burn | You are set on fire |
| Fast digging (Haste) | You dig faster |
| Fire resistance | You are resistant to fire |
| Health boost | Adds extra health |
| Jump (Jump boost) | You jump higher |
| Night vision | You see better in the dark |
| Regeneration | Regenerates your health |
| Water breathing | You can breath underwater |
| Speed | You move faster |
Permisson:
- monef.admin → Use the commands, you get notified when an update is available
- monef.god → The effects doesn't apply on you
Commands:

| /monef add <world> <monster> <effect> chance <value> | Add the chance for the effect. This chance only aplies for the effect. |

I see issues with zombie_ironspade and things like "cave_spider" should mobs with spaces be an underscore instead?

At first there is a list of supported monster on the setup page. Second, I have tested the spider and cavespider only for you, but everthing worked fine. Also the chances worked. Please show me your config...

Do you mean creating the monster with another plugin? MonsterEffects only adds the effects. No there isn't a possibility to create specific areas. Maybe in the next update...

Posted Nov 13, 2013I'm totally stealing this idea from another plugin (yes, you can lambast me for that), but the ability to reflect damage dealt back to the player would be rather interesting.
A more original, but less interesting one would be an attack that pushes you back "farther" than usual (determined by a multiplier).

Posted Aug 6, 2013Hello there, im using monster effects v2.2 and your sample config. Im getting this error: mapping values are not allowed here in string "<string>", line 8, column 9: spider: ^ But when i remove : , it doesnt say anything but effects also do not work. Can you help me please?

Maybe you don't understand what other people do or say... I'm not sure if I really want to understand your mind. However, I confess there was a mistake, but I know what I'm doing. For the skeleton was following problem: I had forgotten to remove the copyDefaults() Method after testing a little bit. So the default configuration applies even the config file would be empty. So I hope you now understand what the problem was. To your questions. No the plugin shouldn't override it. Not yet. Maybe in one of the next versions. The enderman has no effects in the normal world because it's set to the end world, but if you set him to the normal world the enderman would have it's effects in the normal world. This was only an example that you also can use multiple worlds. I should release a source code so that you can understand it better ;) You're welcome.

That's nice that you try to help me, but this is not the best way. So I say it again: I test everthing I release and nobody else except you said that there was still a bug. Now to your question. This is how you want it. The chance in the effect applies only for this effect. The chance in the monster only applies for the monster, this means that all effects applies at the same time with the sames chance. Like in version 2.0. So do you code and have got knowledge of java? If so you wouldn't bet, because then you would know that this couldn't be the bug... Think first, then write. Thank you.

Apparently if a baby mob steals your items you cannot get them back after killing it.

What permissions have you given yourself? Because it looks like you also have got the 'monef.god' permission. You have to remove it or add the '-monef.god' permission.
