Welcome to the ultimate monster hell. I have brought together everything anyone everyone could ever want to do with monsters into one completely hellbent plugin. Use at your own risk.
Warning - Zombie digging is destructive, if you turn it on and configure it, please backup your worlds.
Plugin has been thoroughly tested as working properly, if you have trouble please report it so I can make it work for a wider range of setups!
PLEASE USE CRAFTBUKKIT 1.11 (R1) for version 19.6. Only Spigot supports this build. No other builds will work with this version.

Config
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/config/
(Is partially updated)
You will need to reference craftbukkit enums for drops and block attacking to work, failure to use valid enums could potentially break your plugin. You can find them here:
https://hub.spigotmc.org/javadocs/bukkit/org/bukkit/Material.html
You may want to play with Spawn Points, you can find the info here:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/spawn-points/
If you wish to develop your own plugin with my health API, check this page:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/health-api/
For Nightmare Mode, check here:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/nightmare-mode/
Need multiple configs?
- Note: This is outdated and may not work.
How to set up multiple installations, for different custom difficulties on multiple worlds:
- Copy the MA jar and rename it.
- Rename the plugin inside plugin.yml of the second copy (within the jar), and remove the commands section.
- Disable registering the /MA command in the second copy's config.
- Double check that you have no world names overlapping between the two configs, and that your bonus and naturalistic spawns are restricted to the right worlds.
You now have two separate installations.

Posted May 20, 2012I'm seeing Monster Apocalypse eat a lot of CPU. NoLagg Examine gives me Task #4 as using the most time (I've tried both with and w/o torchdestruction):
Plugin: Monster Apocalypse Average duration: 1.089 ms/tick Total duration: 544.418 ms/500 ticks blainicus.MonsterApocalypse.MonsterApocalypse$torchdestroyer

Posted May 20, 2012Take a look at Tribu: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/tribu/
They have really basic pathfinding (Zombies move towards player and if they fail to reach player they reset to default zombie) . I don't see how it is hardcoded if another plugin can do what this plugin says is impossible.

Posted May 17, 2012Hey, with 7.1 it gives out errors for the item-drops at spawn. I used the official zombieland-config for it. I disabled them and the plugin works.
Anyone able to tell me how to activate the drops?
because I only have zombz and spiders as mobs activated and so they need to drop bones and stuff like that. :D
Also it would be great if zombies could walk faster, at least when they are after a player. configurable would be nice, 150% speed if not configurable.
because if they keep walking that slow its a bit too easy. ;)

Posted May 17, 2012Hi!Thanks for plugin.I have one question: is it possible to limit amount of creatures spawned with /ma addspawnpoint? For example,i want my spawner to produce 2 zombies every 10 seconds,but i dont want to have more than 20 creatures at one point,because it will cause lags.

Blacklisting just water ( id 8 ) does not work. You need to blacklist both WATER (8) and STATIONARY_WATER (9).

Posted May 16, 2012For the blacklist, can you use item-id? And if I use the name, does it have to be capitalized?

I'm not sure on the height. Probably won't interfere.
Ocelots will be added with the next minecraft patch, and any mobs that have been made since the plugin was released. I'm considering trying to add tame wolf control as well.
@gdude2002
Naturalistic spawns occur similar to vanilla, whereas regular bonus spawns appear in waves in a circle around players.
@jhs232
You can only do this in spout.
@Lostmymind96
Mega-aggro no longer works on Zombies or Skeletons. Zombie block breaking only works on PigZombies. Both features worked prior to 1.2 where the AI was remade.
@EpicYetiz
Use caps.
@Unknown_Mage
Yes, you can resolve this by changing plugin.yml files, such as removing the lines for just /ma and leaving /monsterapoc etc.
@L24D
You don't use '%' signs in the config.
@rickoman
Make sure you enabled blacklisting, and water is set to "WATER".

Make sure you blacklist both blocks 8 and 9 to stop them spawning in water.

Posted May 15, 2012I cannot get mobs to stop spawning in the ocean (lots of them do). I have only naturalistic spawns on and water as a blacklisted spawn block. This doesn't stop them. Any ideas?

The commands require /ma before everything.
Will this conflict with Mob arena?

Posted May 11, 2012Wonderful plugin! only some problems maybe its my fault or is it the plugin?
- So i want every mob ( spider, creeper, zombie, etc... ) To attack me from large distances also shown in the config. But the problem is that they just won't attack me, even when i attack them from far distances they won't respond to my attack. It does work with skeletons but not for any other mob and so does the Zombies don't break blocks. i gave the name of the block in capital letters and even tried using the ID. Can anyone please help me?

Posted May 10, 2012Can you add an option to make mobs (zombie, skeleton, pigzombie and NPC) wear armour like normal players? You should be able to set the chance of a such special mob spawning. Also allow them to have custom weapons like zombie with bow and iron sword.

Posted May 10, 2012I was also noticing all of the Y: coords in the config file are 128. Is it OK to bump these up to 256 for 256 worlds? Will we suffer any side effects from doing so?
