Welcome to the ultimate monster hell. I have brought together everything anyone everyone could ever want to do with monsters into one completely hellbent plugin. Use at your own risk.
Warning - Zombie digging is destructive, if you turn it on and configure it, please backup your worlds.
Plugin has been thoroughly tested as working properly, if you have trouble please report it so I can make it work for a wider range of setups!
PLEASE USE CRAFTBUKKIT 1.11 (R1) for version 19.6. Only Spigot supports this build. No other builds will work with this version.

Config
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/config/
(Is partially updated)
You will need to reference craftbukkit enums for drops and block attacking to work, failure to use valid enums could potentially break your plugin. You can find them here:
https://hub.spigotmc.org/javadocs/bukkit/org/bukkit/Material.html
You may want to play with Spawn Points, you can find the info here:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/spawn-points/
If you wish to develop your own plugin with my health API, check this page:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/health-api/
For Nightmare Mode, check here:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/nightmare-mode/
Need multiple configs?
- Note: This is outdated and may not work.
How to set up multiple installations, for different custom difficulties on multiple worlds:
- Copy the MA jar and rename it.
- Rename the plugin inside plugin.yml of the second copy (within the jar), and remove the commands section.
- Disable registering the /MA command in the second copy's config.
- Double check that you have no world names overlapping between the two configs, and that your bonus and naturalistic spawns are restricted to the right worlds.
You now have two separate installations.

I don't use multiverse I use MyWorlds, I can't simply make it load first. Why not this plugin load last ? Someone will need to talk with burgerkiller if it needs to load first.

Yes, just open the jar with winzip and edit the plugin.yml file, you can remove the lines for /ma.
@morizuki
I changed the flag to enderman-grief a while ago. Worldguard is broken on it own now too.
@ledhead900
If you have a multiverse plugin installed you need to make sure it loads first. There was some info on how to do this in the comments section here a while back.

Will try a fresh server but I used that exact command as in your wiki in fact I use spoutcraft so I can bind it so its identical every time.
but I tested it with different mob names and it did the same thing.
oh and it produces this error on disable plugin.
EDIT
Ok turns out the server did not load plugin it did not like my world name :s, thinks its invalid but it cant be as that is the world it is just not the main world in server properties I am trying to narrow this issue down as I speak.
Also can we set this up differently per world I mean how would I enabled different sets of spawn bonus's for say Main world and Nether. I would like nether mobs increased but not spawning in the main world as well.
EDIT - Found the cause I narrowed this down, and I am now certain that it is this plugins fault. Here are the steps produce error.
Detailed Break Down of what is going on I removed every plugin and put them back in 3 at at time when it broke I removed the last 3 I put in one at time until it worked and I found that it is not actually a plugin conflict as it did not matter what plugin I removed, If there are too many plugins installed it simply wont initialize the world correctly.
I have tested this theory in more than one way and could produce it every single time, I moved out 5 plugins in any random order and put one back in at a time until it would not initialize correctly and sure enough before I finished putting them all back this plugin failed to start. I am not certain this plugin has a priority fight issue or something of that nature.
Here is the list of my plugins http://pastebin.com/k41DS646 Java server script http://pastebin.com/U881b62D
You would think ecocreature or some other mob plugin would conflict but that was not the case It appears to load fine with those and loads fine if I don't run too many plugins.

I am unable to reproduce this error. It's possible you typed something wrong at first, or you might already have a spawnpoint named zombies, or you tried to run it from the console, or you might have a command problem with your setup. Try a stripped out server.

Posted Feb 4, 2012Does anyone know how to set it up where spawnpoints wait to spawn mobs until they're dead, instead of just constantly spawning them based on the count you assigned to the spawn point? I'd like to set it up where I'd have a building or something that would have different levels to it, and would progressively get harder as you go further through, in terms of mobs. However, if I create a spawnpoint and set a count, it will just continue to spawn them and there will end up being a ton. I'm not sure if this makes sense, but I'm just wanting a set number to spawn and then have the plugin wait until they've all been killed before it spawns more. Is there a way to do this? Thanks!

I tried to use a spawnpoint and it does not work.
I tested it with (/ma addspawnpoint zombies Zombie 30 1 0 15 100), I have Spawnpoints enabled in the config. I am OP.
Chat just reply's with standard reply when you get an argument wrong. I am using the latest 5c version as well,

All you need to do is go into creative mode. Mega-aggro, skeleton arrows, zombie wall attacks, and bonus spawns (not naturalistic) will ignore creative mode players.

You need to enable 'all other properties'.
@NoahIvaldi
If you try not to conflict the settings, they should work fine together.

Posted Feb 1, 2012I have a suggestion: What about working with wide_load's BloodMoon? His plugin is cool, but the updates are rather scarce. Maybe you can get him to work with you to add wather-based augments, sleep attempt-induced spawns, a multiplier on spider agility, et cetera. Then, we could get regular updates, all functionality in a single plugin, and thereby no plugin conflicts/decisions. ^_^

Posted Feb 1, 2012Kind of a pain to setup and get the spawn rates right. My goal is to have a hardcore world. Some notes: zombies don't "dead stack" too well. Skeleton exploding arrows seem to not work (enabled, chance set, etc.)
Is it possible to have them drop XP? What is the exact name of that, similar to the Block names the game uses. "XP_ORB"?

Download the newest version and you should be good to go.
@ledhead900
You should be able to make spawn points use ANY mob type already.

Need to mess around with the naturalistic bonus spawns and disable the default spwans for passive and hostile.
You need to enable Natrualistic spawn bonus, and then set the rate of this that I think defaults to 10, I think anyway I am not exactly sure.
