Welcome to the ultimate monster hell. I have brought together everything anyone everyone could ever want to do with monsters into one completely hellbent plugin. Use at your own risk.
Warning - Zombie digging is destructive, if you turn it on and configure it, please backup your worlds.
Plugin has been thoroughly tested as working properly, if you have trouble please report it so I can make it work for a wider range of setups!
PLEASE USE CRAFTBUKKIT 1.11 (R1) for version 19.6. Only Spigot supports this build. No other builds will work with this version.

You are free to use it commercially, as long as you do not sell the plugin itself unmodified, and do not claim ownership. Source code is included for self-modification. You will need to reference craftbukkit enums for drops and block attacking to work, failure to use valid enums could potentially break your plugin. You can find them here:

Need multiple configs?
- Note: This is outdated and may not work.
How to set up multiple installations, for different custom difficulties on multiple worlds:
- Copy the MA jar and rename it.
- Rename the plugin inside plugin.yml of the second copy (within the jar), and remove the commands section.
- Disable registering the /MA command in the second copy's config.
- Double check that you have no world names overlapping between the two configs, and that your bonus and naturalistic spawns are restricted to the right worlds.
You now have two separate installations.

[NOTE]: The latest version works on 1.7.2, but im not sure if it works 100% since I didnt fully get control over the plugin (4x config)

Hey Jaco. You can change what blocks the zombies break in the config file. Scroll down to "Advanced Monster Properties" and go to the Zombies properties section. Under there, you'll see an area for "Attackable Blocks". THere, you can choose which blocks they can break, and how long (in seconds) it will take to break. For example "GRASS:5". Grass block will take 5 seconds for them to break. You have to use these names for the blocks, not block ID's. Link (Go to the link, and scroll down to public attributes)
Unfortunately I dont think this plugin is operating with 1.7. But it is a great plugin. Enjoy!

Is it possibile to add 4 configs? If so, does it already works for craftbukkit 1.7.2?
Just to make sure that I did it right this is how the plugin.yml inside the .jar file looks:
"name: Monster Apocalypse Survival main: blainicus.MonsterApocalypse.MonsterApocalypse version: <15.0> softdepend: - Multiverse-Core - WorldGuard - CreeperHeal - MobAPA
(Removed Command section) (Restarted server) (3 new configs where generated)
On the normal config I removed the following line: Allow this MA installation to register the spawnpoint command?: true
[note] I did not removed or changed anything of the original MA config & .jar files.
So, did I do it all according to the explaination or did I went wrong somewhere?

Posted Dec 12, 2013THIS is what I was looking for, a simple plugin that with the standard minecraft feature gives a great zombie survival game!
I've just one question: What blocks zombies can't break? (Can I change those?)
And one suggestion: Yeap, the config file needs some fix and reorder.

Posted Dec 10, 2013Sorry for the copy paste, I'm guessing you're busy I just don't want this to get buried:
Hi I use monster apocalypse on my server and we love it, but I noticed some lag after I last updated the plug in.
After profiling it I found that even when no one is on the server a good amount of time is spent on a method in MonsterApocalypse called 'torchdestroyer' but I have torch destruction disabled so I'm a little confused, do you have any ideas why this might be?
I'm willing to provide more information but I figured I shouldn't spam you on onset if this is a known issue etc.

I don't understand how making the player immune to all damage from mobs and players is useful for a minigame environment. If the player was roleplaying as a mob, wouldn't it make more sense for him to be completely ignored by mobs and be able to take daamge from players, rather than being immune to all damage besides fire, lava, and drowning?
At any rate, for the next update, would you be willing to add a node similar to deaggro that only blocks mass aggro and not damage?
