Welcome to the ultimate monster hell. I have brought together everything anyone everyone could ever want to do with monsters into one completely hellbent plugin. Use at your own risk.
Warning - Zombie digging is destructive, if you turn it on and configure it, please backup your worlds.
Plugin has been thoroughly tested as working properly, if you have trouble please report it so I can make it work for a wider range of setups!
PLEASE USE CRAFTBUKKIT 1.11 (R1) for version 19.6. Only Spigot supports this build. No other builds will work with this version.

Config
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/config/
(Is partially updated)
You will need to reference craftbukkit enums for drops and block attacking to work, failure to use valid enums could potentially break your plugin. You can find them here:
https://hub.spigotmc.org/javadocs/bukkit/org/bukkit/Material.html
You may want to play with Spawn Points, you can find the info here:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/spawn-points/
If you wish to develop your own plugin with my health API, check this page:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/health-api/
For Nightmare Mode, check here:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/nightmare-mode/
Need multiple configs?
- Note: This is outdated and may not work.
How to set up multiple installations, for different custom difficulties on multiple worlds:
- Copy the MA jar and rename it.
- Rename the plugin inside plugin.yml of the second copy (within the jar), and remove the commands section.
- Disable registering the /MA command in the second copy's config.
- Double check that you have no world names overlapping between the two configs, and that your bonus and naturalistic spawns are restricted to the right worlds.
You now have two separate installations.

Posted Apr 1, 2013Huh. My spawn whitelist seems to work a little too well. It's kind of unfortunate that it effects passive mobs as well as aggressive ones, and spawn eggs as well as natural spawning.
In general, though, this mod seems to be great!

Not sure if that has been accomplished in the past.
I requested that feature in the past, and it has not been added. Sorry.

Posted Mar 31, 2013Wow, even aside from the whole difficulty angle, this looks like a great way to finely customize the way monsters work on a server. I'm thinking of installing it particularly for the ability to keep mobs from spawning on player-made blocks.
Any chance of an option to customize mob-on-mob aggression? I'd love to have spiders that attack livestock.

Set their health to 0, and the damage to 0, as a temporary solution. Also, a config could help!

Posted Mar 31, 2013ok, how do I disable specific mobs from spawning? I don't want enderdragons of ghasts in my world, but even if I have set their spawning to false from config they still spawn.

There is a health API, just access MA like any other plugin's API and you should see it.

Posted Mar 30, 2013I recently added custom entities into my Herobrine plugin and an user is reporting the custom max health isn't working, it seems to be conflicted. Is there an easy way to override this, if not, could you add the ability to some sort of API to control it for me? Thanks!

Posted Mar 30, 2013I have been in survival mode, sitting in front of a box full of zombies for 5 minutes. Only one of them turned into gravel so far...... And I set the minimum time to be 20 seconds. Is there a way to set a maximum time? :/

I don't have enough information to help you, plus make sure you're in survival mode. and that you have no permissions to make monsters ignore you

I don't think monsters could be passed the 256 limit, unless you set up a plain there. Also, what matters most is the actual range, not the Y limit. The limit is by theory infinite, although i wouldn't recommend going over 200 if you have more than 20 players on.
Plus, monsters would track you down at the hight of 256, and you were on bedrock. but their AI would block them from jumping like idiots ;)

Posted Mar 29, 2013What are the practical limits on Mega-aggro range? If I set Y to 256, will they come for me even if I'm all the way at the sky limit and the zombie spawns down at bedrock below me?

I don't think you need a config to be posted, Just do the following:
Mass aggro is not being affected on zombies becuase their speed is set to 1.0, set it to atleast 1.1 to make zombies run faster!
Also - blocks are being broken very slowly! Make sure the world is correct, too!
I don't have enough information to fix everything. Please, message me in private.
