Welcome to the ultimate monster hell. I have brought together everything anyone everyone could ever want to do with monsters into one completely hellbent plugin. Use at your own risk.
Warning - Zombie digging is destructive, if you turn it on and configure it, please backup your worlds.
Plugin has been thoroughly tested as working properly, if you have trouble please report it so I can make it work for a wider range of setups!
PLEASE USE CRAFTBUKKIT 1.11 (R1) for version 19.6. Only Spigot supports this build. No other builds will work with this version.

Config
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/config/
(Is partially updated)
You will need to reference craftbukkit enums for drops and block attacking to work, failure to use valid enums could potentially break your plugin. You can find them here:
https://hub.spigotmc.org/javadocs/bukkit/org/bukkit/Material.html
You may want to play with Spawn Points, you can find the info here:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/spawn-points/
If you wish to develop your own plugin with my health API, check this page:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/health-api/
For Nightmare Mode, check here:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/nightmare-mode/
Need multiple configs?
- Note: This is outdated and may not work.
How to set up multiple installations, for different custom difficulties on multiple worlds:
- Copy the MA jar and rename it.
- Rename the plugin inside plugin.yml of the second copy (within the jar), and remove the commands section.
- Disable registering the /MA command in the second copy's config.
- Double check that you have no world names overlapping between the two configs, and that your bonus and naturalistic spawns are restricted to the right worlds.
You now have two separate installations.

Posted Feb 16, 2013Hmm, it actually seems that the mob health settings work in the normal world but not so in the Nether. Everything I spawn in the Nether dies in three hits except for bosses. The creeper took three hits in the Nether but in the normal world it took eight hits. Is there a specific syntax I need to add to each mob to gain the health changes in the Nether? I don't want to have my players killing Blazes in three hits. Any help is appreciated.

Posted Feb 16, 2013I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. I am setting a mob, for example a creeper, to have a health of 50. I kill it in three hits with a regular diamond sword. I set the creeper's health to 1 and I still kill it in three hits. What exactly am I doing wrong? It isn't the obvious cause of me not saving and reloading the plugin... I've done that over and over again. I haven't changed anything else about the config file other than changing the number for the creeper's health and it still seems to take the same number of hits to kill it. I'm so confused.

That is mega-aggro for mobs that don't use the new AI. (Pigmen and Spiders)
@wez1981
True damage is extra damage added on top of regular damage that ignores all armor and defense:
IE: Damage: 3 True damage: 1
Deals 1.5 hearts of vanilla damage, and half a heart of unavoidable damage.
@thomasmccarron
MA does not support other plugins with WG/multiworld being exceptions.

Posted Feb 15, 2013Heya there :D
I was wondering if you would be able to add some kind of support for EpicBoss whereby EpicBoss mobs can spawn naturally like the rest of them?
Thanks! :D

1 is half a heart, protection III still affects that half heart. Set it higher, if you look at it without protection it works!
@Tehkiah Yeah, just look at your spawn settings, something is probably too high or too low.

Posted Feb 14, 2013Just curious, is the silverfish visual bug I'm seeing a problem in all the latest versions or is it the fact that I'm using a modified bukkit server (MCPC+)? Whenever I turn on features in MA, little silverfish appear to spawn and blink in and out of existence randomly around players. It's not -too- bad but it's a little startling sometimes as well haha
Everything else seems to be working great!

Posted Feb 14, 2013Whenever i set ignoreArmor to 1, i can still stand there for ages with protection III items and my armour barely gets touched... can you confirm if ignorearmor is working?
i would expect to be dead pretty quick with 20 mobs bashing at me with even the best armor on :)

Posted Feb 13, 2013i suspect its epicboss that is the culprit. for my errors, doing a days worth of testing without it to make sure.
mobhealth should be working ok.
shame if epicboss isnt working hmm. any other alternatives to use for customised boss mobs? i suspect you can do nothing to fix compatability and its up to epicboss?

Posted Feb 12, 2013Hey, long time no see, It's me again.
I seem to be having an issue-Only skeletons are spawning. I've upgraded from an older version and recently started up the server again so I may just be doing something wrong. I was enabling naturalistic bonus spawns and nothing else, then adjusting it so everything was equal except slightly fewer creepers (21/21/21/21/16). Spawns are set to "true" on creeper/ender/skele/spider/zombie, as well.
Oh, and that monsters spawn only from light 0-5, as well.
Also, would would "enable spawning changes" do? Would changes, and it applies it to the vanilla server spawns?
Thanks again for all your hard work!

Posted Feb 12, 2013Could you possibly look at going over the config in more detail? the comments dont really make it clear as to what some of the settings do and how they compare (i.e. bonus vs naturalistic spawns).
A video tutorial of each setting and the impact it makes would be great, i cant tell you how many times ive changed the config and restarted the server to try and get it set how i want it..
For example, you make references to Vanilla spawns, Naturalistic bonus spawns, Bonus Spawns and it can be very confusing what each one is and how they work..
Also the setting 'Bonus spawn world name:': world
Why does this look different to the rest of the config? Ive tried changing the "world" to my "dungeons" but bonus mobs still spawn on my other world...(and Only enable bonus spawns on one world is set to true).

@Jacold This would also be useful for me when setting up dungeons where custom settings would play a large part.
