Warning - Zombie digging is destructive, if you turn it on and configure it, please backup your worlds.
Plugin has been thoroughly tested as working properly, if you have trouble please report it so I can make it work for a wider range of setups!
PLEASE USE CRAFTBUKKIT 1.11 (R1) for version 19.6. Only Spigot supports this build. No other builds will work with this version.

Config
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/config/
(Is partially updated)
You will need to reference craftbukkit enums for drops and block attacking to work, failure to use valid enums could potentially break your plugin. You can find them here:
https://hub.spigotmc.org/javadocs/bukkit/org/bukkit/Material.html
You may want to play with Spawn Points, you can find the info here:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/spawn-points/
If you wish to develop your own plugin with my health API, check this page:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/health-api/
For Nightmare Mode, check here:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/monster-apocalypse/pages/nightmare-mode/
Need multiple configs?
- Note: This is outdated and may not work.
How to set up multiple installations, for different custom difficulties on multiple worlds:
- Copy the MA jar and rename it.
- Rename the plugin inside plugin.yml of the second copy (within the jar), and remove the commands section.
- Disable registering the /MA command in the second copy's config.
- Double check that you have no world names overlapping between the two configs, and that your bonus and naturalistic spawns are restricted to the right worlds.
You now have two separate installations.

Depends on other plugins, Just disable spawning changes - see if that helps, also check the world names and difficulty on worlds.

Disable bonus spawns and just add mobs to the natural spawns -
On a zombie set the spawn amount to - 2
That will add extra zombies without natural spawns, you know, mobs as groups.

Posted Jan 11, 2013I can't get this to work the way i want it to, a lot of things with mobs have gotten weird since I installed the plugin. I don't really understand what the difference is between "natural bonus spawns" and "bonus spawns". And do monsters spawn in water with bonus spawns. Basically I just want normal spawns with maybe a bit more monsters and the monsters should attack from far away. Basically more or less what I suggested in my plugin suggestion....

External plugins would do this better, try those.
@Hobojimbobo
The spawn rates are drastically reduced, you old settings were probably extremely low.
@thisq
You're misunderstanding something in the config.

In notepad-plus-plus just continue writing and when you are finished go to "edit->blank operations -> tab to space" and you are set. Or you could just do the spaces manually. Why didn't you know that one can't use tabs in yaml??

I tried this setup.
ma config:
Enable worldguard creeper explosion flag check for creepers, ghasts, and death explosions?: true
and WorldGuard region flag command:
However, when it was this setup and MOB is killed, it will not explode.
I do not want to break a block, although I would like to give the damage by explosion to a player.

Thanks man! The only problem I'm having now, is that I can't seem to list any more than one block because it turns red. I assume I have to enter the blocks in a different way, but I don't know how.

I'll consider it. For now, there are compatible alternative plugins specific to drops.
@owatakun
You'll have to set a region and enable the worldguard checks in the MA config.

Posted Jan 11, 2013Hello.
I would like to give an explosion damage, when a player kills MOB, but I do not want to destroy a block.
In "explode on death=true", when MOB is killed, it explodes, but a block will be destroyed.
The block was destroyed although "block-creeper-explosions=true" and "block-tnt-explosions=true" were used by the config of WorldGuard.
Is there any method which does not destroy a block?
I am sorry, this is the text translated from Japanese.

Yes, if the Y range is limited then they will stop once you leave it.
@Atraius
Example: /ma setcount zombies 100
Example: /ma setperiod zombies 100
It's not quite a normal command in that 'set' is the prefix of other command words.

Posted Jan 10, 2013Great plugin, I've been using it for awhile. However, maybe I'm just really dense but whenever I try to use the "/ma set" command, it give me an error. I've tried "/ma set count <spawnpointname> 1" which results in an invalid name error, and "/ma set <spawnpointname> count 1" which results in an error saying "flag not found". After that I tried pretty much every combination of the above but nothing seems to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Posted Jan 10, 2013@blainicus Are you going to add a setting for caves? That would be super nice. Otherwise I will have to get super inventive to get this thing to work on my server.
How does the megaaggro algorithm work? If I set Y=5 and I run up and down through a cave, will all the monsters be aggro in the y-range that I went through, or will they loose aggro once I left the height that they are on?
I found what the error with my permissions was.... I had written MonsterApocalypse.deaggro in one word. There has to be a space though. You can't add permissions to pex from the command line if they are two words. You actually have to edit the permissions directly in the file. I didnt know that permissions could be two words, because I always use the commands to add the permissions.

http://jd.bukkit.org/apidocs/org/bukkit/Material.html Go to the advanced preferences for zombies and under breakable blocks put all of your blocks. Block:seconds (to break)
COBBLESTONE:15
WOOD:10
DIAMOND_BLOCK:300

Posted Jan 10, 2013Hey, noob here. Sorry if this has already been posted, but my zombies don't seem to break down the walls. Is this something to do with the enums? I'm not entirely sure how to reference them :S
