Welcome to the ultimate monster hell. I have brought together everything anyone everyone could ever want to do with monsters into one completely hellbent plugin. Use at your own risk.
Warning - Zombie digging is destructive, if you turn it on and configure it, please backup your worlds.
Plugin has been thoroughly tested as working properly, if you have trouble please report it so I can make it work for a wider range of setups!
PLEASE USE CRAFTBUKKIT 1.11 (R1) for version 19.6. Only Spigot supports this build. No other builds will work with this version.

You will need to reference craftbukkit enums for drops and block attacking to work, failure to use valid enums could potentially break your plugin. You can find them here:

Need multiple configs?
- Note: This is outdated and may not work.
How to set up multiple installations, for different custom difficulties on multiple worlds:
- Copy the MA jar and rename it.
- Rename the plugin inside plugin.yml of the second copy (within the jar), and remove the commands section.
- Disable registering the /MA command in the second copy's config.
- Double check that you have no world names overlapping between the two configs, and that your bonus and naturalistic spawns are restricted to the right worlds.
You now have two separate installations.

That permission only prevents mobs from attacking them. Monster Apocalypse is entirely controlled by the config.

Posted Jan 10, 2013I want to enable the plugin only for a few users on my server. So I gave them the permission "MonsterApocalypse.deaggro" in pex but it doesn't work. Megaaggor is still active.

All the enabled spawn chance must add up to 100.1
Example: Wolf 5.0 Giant 0.1 Zombie 95.0 -(all set to spawn true)

There could be a bug there somewhere, but I have not had this issue on a server with no worldguard installed or enabled. I'll look into it.

You probably have hostile spawns disabled in server properties.

Like any plugin, compatibility with mod packs is spotty. You will need bukkit to actually use bukkit plugins (they are 100% dependant on API, which is the reason bukkit exists in the first place), and I'm pretty sure FTB does not use bukkit. Sorry.
I no longer have an active server, however google "pandemonium 2" and try mineapoc.com.

You could try setting a mega-aggro Y radius of five or so. That might help, but not eliminate the problem. Another thing you can do is migrate some of your spawn rates to above ground bonus spawns, reducing lower down spawns.

Posted Jan 9, 2013Could you add a config option for the mega-aggro in caves? Below y=50, have an extra setting like you have for day/night. It's a bit hard otherwise in a cave.

Posted Jan 9, 2013Two questions quick. First and probably the most likely to be answered no to. Is there a possibility of getting this wheer it could be run on a FTB server? I realize that's a huge request but I recently upgraded to FTB and I really miss the terror of your mobs:). Second do you still have the official monster apocolipse server up or did you stop doing that.

Also, i used your Zombie Config, configured the world and everything, the zombies are working, but they are not spawning, any help?

A few facts: 1) New server with limited plugins. 2) WorldEdit/WorldGuard are both fresh copies, with no changes to generated configs. 3) I do not have any worldguard options enabled in the config when I get this error spam. 4) I tried enabling worldguard options but with them enabled no one can enter worldguard regions without their client freezing.
So, considering the above, do you have some kind of wiki or guide on how to configure this and worldguard to play nice?

Okay, So i have disabled bonus spawns on the server becuase they were Iradical, even on 0.1 percent i would have the whole map filled with giants or wolves.
I also tried increasing the number that is supposed to reduce spawns, with no luck.
Any advice?
And yes, i have lowered the percentage at the bottom, with the spawn amount and percentage.

You have no bonus spawn types enabled. It's trying to select from a null list. Enable at least one mob type and it will be fixed.

Unfortunately because of the way you spawn these, MA cannot handle them. Avoiding technical terms, I can't adjust the spawn event without leaving the blocks intact.

one request, could you add any options for snow golems? particularly damage and immunity to water/rain would be great, so that you can have some useful soldiers to assist with the monster apocalypse.

Could u Make it so the Zombie will drop the same Block ID and not the Default I have not Checked to see if there is a problem with all the blocks But i figure if one block is doing this they all must be. I rely like your plugin and have Used it for a long time now my players like it to but don't like the small bug with the blocks. Thank u for your time Reading this Post and have a good day.

Pretty often now, I fear this has to do with a Bonus Spawn issue?
I have went threw my config and found no errors, and i get this message pereodically even when no players are on, which is becuase spawn is always loaded, so coult it be my World Guard acting up? I tried removing block protection and spawning tags with no luck.
Should i just re-install world guard, or fix my config?

Edit : Not that this error bothers me too much, MA works flawlessly, this only floods my console.
Maybe in the future you can add a feature for logging or console sending, it could help, but might be a hastle...

I have no idea what the issue is, but that would be my best guess. Other things to check include worldguard, unsupported plugins, and peaceful mode.

Yes, you are probably noticing them more because they come to you and become visible from proximity.

Monster Apocalypse supports worldguard protection. If you enable worldguard flags and your worldguard setup is flawed, then it will cause MA to appear flawed. You can choose to disable it checking WorldGuard entirely, and it will not be dependant on it.

Posted Jan 7, 2013When running the lastest version I get huge jumps on my CPU usage. It randomly goes from about 50% (normal) and then jumps to 400% for a few seconds and the server stutters, then it goes back to normal. It does this over and over until I restart the server, and then takes about 30 minutes to start happening again.

that could possibly be that causing the problem but idk much about it.. im getting some massive spawning and I still have naturalistic and bonus spawns off and I didn't touch the max spawns either..
