Welcome to the ultimate monster hell. I have brought together everything anyone everyone could ever want to do with monsters into one completely hellbent plugin. Use at your own risk.
Warning - Zombie digging is destructive, if you turn it on and configure it, please backup your worlds.
Plugin has been thoroughly tested as working properly, if you have trouble please report it so I can make it work for a wider range of setups!
PLEASE USE CRAFTBUKKIT 1.11 (R1) for version 19.6. Only Spigot supports this build. No other builds will work with this version.
Monster apocalypse is copyright by the individual aliased on this site as blainicus, all rights reserved. You are free to use it commercially, as long as you do not sell the plugin itself unmodified, and do not claim ownership. Source code is included for self-modification. You will need to reference craftbukkit enums for drops and block attacking to work, failure to use valid enums could potentially break your plugin. You can find them here:

Need multiple configs?
- Note: This is outdated and may not work.
How to set up multiple installations, for different custom difficulties on multiple worlds:
- Copy the MA jar and rename it.
- Rename the plugin inside plugin.yml of the second copy (within the jar), and remove the commands section.
- Disable registering the /MA command in the second copy's config.
- Double check that you have no world names overlapping between the two configs, and that your bonus and naturalistic spawns are restricted to the right worlds.
You now have two separate installations.

Set your sprint stop distance to 0. This will cause bugs if you are using spiders or zombie pigmen ingame.

I'm not creative, op or anything, i've tried everything i think. I took your 9.0 zombie config, i have tried put down the speed of the zombies. They act like they already have runned to me but they are lik 6 blocks away from me. I have tested many bukkit versions too, made a new world, tried to start from beginning didnt work either

I haven't observed that behavior. Maybe your speed is too fast or you have deaggro permission or creative mode.

Posted Dec 24, 2012I have a feature request: An option in the config to make new mobs spawn at a spawnpoint only after the old mobs that spawned there have been killed. So, it could track the mobs that spawned at that spawnpoint and then when the spawned mobs die, if they have been killed before the timer for the new mobs is done, it will wait the remaining time before spawning new mobs. If the mobs die after the timer is done, the new mobs will spawn instantly after the old ones die.
I hope you can implement something like this soon.

Posted Dec 24, 2012Your work is appreciated so close to the holiday, can we expect more detailed documentation for the config yet? if it has to wait till after new years I can reason with that.
Also if you could tell me is there a way to make them only spawn above ground?
I think it needs some pointing out that people have to change the server bukkit.yml mob spawn values to make this pl work, this was not clear to me at first.
At any rate do what you can for now an thank you in advance, I thought this pl was dead.

Posted Dec 22, 2012Hey Blainicus, I'd really encourage you to continue with this plugin :D If you are, then sorry for this annoying post, but anyhow, this is the only Plugin that allows you to fully edit a mobs damage, health drops, spawn rate etc etc! I do realise that the Christmas Holidays have started, if you don't have time, then I'm sure we all understand. If you could, could you make an official statement about the direction of this plugin, we are all eagerly waiting! Since I updated to 1.4.5 R1.0, I had to uninstall Monster Apocalypse. Pretty much, my console is pages and pages of this - if anybody's got any idea how to fix it, or if maybe I should just wait for the next update, it would be really nice to let me know! Thank you :)
