Description:
MobDisguise is a plugin allowing you to transform into any mob you want, with no client mods! Just simple type /md disguise pig, and boom, everybody now sees and thinks your a pig! Can't quite take out the enemy pvp team? Transform into chickens, and sneak behind enemy lines! It even includes an API for other plugins to hook into, and can change players into mobs too!
Features:
- Disguise as any mob and be seen as such by all other players
- Enable or disable per-mob permissions, or give the .* permission for all of them
- Blacklist certain mobs you don't want
- Enable "RealDrops" and on death, a disguised player drops the correct item for his mob disguise, not his normal inventory
- A simple API that plugins can hook into to disguise/undisguise players
Commands:
All commands begin with /md, short for MobDisguise, to provide a simple command system
- /md baby ; toggle being a baby animal!
- /md stats ; Tells you what you're disguised or if you are disguised
- /md ; Turns you back into human form if disguised
- /md types ; Will give you a list of all valid mob types
- /md p [nameofplayer] ; Lets you disguise as that player!
- /md [mobtype] ; Will disguise you as the given mobtype
Permissions (PermissionsBukkit, bPermissions, PEX, but NOT! Permissions 3.1.6:
- mobdisguise.* ;Gives a player the ability to transform into all mobs
- mobdisguise.mob.[mobtype] ; Replace [mobtype] with the mobtype players can turn into
- mobdisguise.player ; Lets a player turn into othe players
Frequently Asked Questions:
- Q.Will you support Permissions 3.1.6?
- A. No.
- Q. I want to be able to have abilities when disguised, i.e creepers explode.
- A. Not going to do it.
- Q. Why doesn't it work?
- A. You're doing something wrong.
How to Install:
- Before installing, read the FAQ and see the page for common errors and how to fix .
- Download MobDisguise, here!
- Place .jar in your plugins folder.
- Done!

- Make a ticket with as much detailed information as possible

Posted Mar 28, 2012Well, for me, I run my own server and I figured out that what happens is it only works when 1 player is on? for some reason it doesn't work when other players are on...

Posted Mar 27, 2012I'm having an issue with the plugins, if anybody could help me that would be great. If I'm alone on my test server, everything runs fine. There isn't any problems, I can turn in and out of everything, but whenever I switch it over to my real server, which is an exact replica but on my friends computer, who has unlimited bandwidth, it gives me internal errors. Everything is the exact same, no files were changed in the process. Does anybody have any ideas what to do? For my server to work I really need to fix this.

Please don't do that. I do not want people very similar to MilkCraft (highly uneducated and mentally stunted developer wannabes, who have no idea what they're talking about) to be using my plugins. But then again, I know they will. And they'll keep trying to convince us that we need to do something for them. I don't know why I ever thought there was any intelligence in the Bukkit community...

Devil. The point of even uploading a plugin is for servers for free. If you are going to make a plugin keep it updated if not remove the thread from the forums. This is a very popular plugin and i understand you want money for it. At least put a source code out so people can update it themselves, Hope you understand

Posted Mar 24, 2012The reason why the changing to a mob doesnt work is because mob disguise is outdated...
...please update to 1.2.4, this mod was awesome but i cannot use it now :(

Posted Mar 24, 2012I have the issue with mob disguise I can not disguise as any mob. It may have worked for me about twice then it just crashed for no apparent reason. /md p [player] Works well no problems with that. Just /md [mob] Does not seem to be doing me any good.

Posted Mar 23, 2012I don't know if it's against the rules, but could you sell me just a temp build for this one? I've been checking this page everyday for the past 2-3 weeks.. And I was all excited yesterday because I heard rumours of a RB coming out for 1.2.3 and then POOP 1.2.4.. Alright, Anyways, lovely plugin you have going here. This plugin is %33 of my Donators abilities, and encouragement and I think you deserve some of that. When I see some progress i'll be sure that some of that will head your way.

Posted Mar 23, 2012Hey i was wondering where i can download all the dev builds.. cuase the normal builds never work for me... when i try to change to pig or something example: /md pig i get internal error and i didnt mess wit the config in any way.. i had just installed the plugin and i have used it b4.. so i was wondering where i can find dev build... btw I LOVE THE PLUGIN :D

My apologies if i offended you. i know you guys work hard and you do an awesome job.The frustration of the day along with one of my favourite plugins not working so my last post came across wrong. I'm mostly irritated with the constant updates from mojang. i genuinely believe that most players would rather wait 6 months for a big update instead of small updates every couple of months (or in this case 3 weeks) it disrupts servers and for me at least causes alot of confusion over what i have to do to fix things that are suddenly going wrong? i'm not really an expert, i started my server late last year and i'm still learning how it all works.
going back to the point. i Love your plugins, i reccomend them to friends and i absolutely do not expect you guys to "work to please us" that not how i really feel.
disguise craft is just awesome, i've just been playing around with it on my server and i'm very happy to have this type of plug in again. so for your hard work . thank you.

I don't think you should believe that authors have any reason to dedicate themselves to the demand of server admins. Desmin has as little reason to maintain MobDisguise, as I do DisguiseCraft. And neither of us appreciate when server admins believe we work to please them.
Not trying to argue with you. Just something I figure you should keep in mind.
