Thanks man, that helps alot! i'm checking it out now. too many authors not updating these days. as much as i appreceate their efforts to bring us these awesome plugins it dissapoints me that they have taken on a role of plugin developer/provider but fail to dedicate themselves to the growing demand of the players that use them. i've now lost count of the time ive spent trying to replace plugins because of this reason.
i truly hope that mojang/minecraft do stop with the constant updates soon. the last one was what? 3 weeks ago?.... they update but plugins dont. grrrr..... i'm sure many many server owners feel the same.
I'll see you in another few weeks to complain some more most likely :)
but in all seriousness thanks for the tip on disguisecraft. a massave massave help (if i can get it working)
cheers.

Its basically the same. You can disguise yourself as a mob! Just search for "disguisecraft" (no quotes) in the search bar at the top of this page. It is around the third result you get.

Posted Mar 21, 2012This mod is awesome, and I've been using it since 1.8. I know you're working on updating to 1.2.3, and if it isn't too difficult, would you consider allowing the mobs to hold items? For example, typing /md hold rose while disguised as a Iron Golem would let the golem hold a rose. Endermen could hold blocks. Non-carrying mobs would bring up a message saying "This mob cannot carry items." so you don't have to code in other mobs. If this is too difficult to create, forget it, but I think it would greatly increase the potential of this already epic mod.

Posted Mar 21, 2012Sorry to say to all, but do you know he wont update it until bukkit release their RB? Also, I read jeb_ twitter and the 1.2.4 will be released Thursday. Could you just stop spamming his plugin thread? It's annoying. More update posts, more you wait.

\*applauds* well said. I've considered quitting several times and just updating my plugins for my private server, as some server owners can be quite demanding and thick headed at times. But then someone comments about how they love the plugins! It's just sad that everyone takes plugins for granted and doesn't think about the time and effort invested to make a plugin, or bukkit, work. Especially since you aren't obligated to pay anything! If I was to charge a dollar for every download of my plugins on bukkit dev I would have over $25,000! Instead I've only gotten in 2 donations that have amounted to $6. I have spent well over 200 hours of my time on all of my public plugins, which amounts to me making around $0.03 per hour coding them. Give a little respect guys to those people that spend their free time making the plugins you enjoy! I've donated to plugins before that have made an impact on my server, and I encourage all of you to do the same for plugins that you love and enjoy.

Are you serious? Desmin is not your servant, employee, you're not his boss. He does this for free for the community and you are here with your impatient, ungrateful attitude? GTFO the Bukkit Dev and its forums if you don't want to respect the plugin developers. If they wanted to, all the plugin developers could just quit right now, and you couldn't do anything about it, since they aren't getting paid for it as a job.

You are quite unappreciative for someone who receives plugins free of charge. Not only do you deny the fact that Desmin is not your employee, but you insist that your impatience is his issue.
You make the whole Bukkit server owner community look like a group of impatient, self-centered hypocrites. (I'm going to hope that there are at least some server owners who still understand the concept of respect)
@TNTUP
Great job finding the update :)
@McJellyGooby
It's not necessarily a dev build, but rather a source-code update that someone had made in a fork. You should be able to find it on GitHub. If you can't, you likely wouldn't be able to compile it either.
