I edited that compiled version to have a feature. If you attack an entity (including players) your first attack will be negated and you will be undisguised.

You see your regular skin.
Others see you as what you disguised as.

When you press "e" or "f5" or "f6" are you supposed to see the creature disguised as or your regular skin?
Thanks for the help, misterycrafter :D

Posted Jan 26, 2012Well, I'm excited to use this, but I can't disguise myself as any mob. I keep getting an internal error. But I can disguise myself as another player. Pail says: [WARNING] Task of 'MobDisguise' generated an exception MineCraft says: An internal error occurred while trying to perform this command.
Does it have anything to do with the non-recommended build thet made for 1.1? Help please.

Posted Jan 26, 2012When I kill a player while im disguised as a spider or something else, it says "(my name) killed (player). Is it possible for you to fix it, so when I kill a player disguised as a spider on my server it will say/tell "(player name) got killed by a spider (or whatever)??

This recompiled version works fine with 1.1: http://tuxreminder.info/MobDisguise-DEV.jar

But he doesn't need to update anything. As shown with http://tuxreminder.info/MobDisguise-DEV.jar, the original code only needs to be recompiled to work with 1.1. Plus, he's keeping up with the recommended builds as he's supposed to. Seeing as a new RB has been announced today, you will probably see many plugins update to the new event system.

Posted Jan 24, 2012This plugin works fine with version 1.1 of Minecraft when recompiled with the latest craftbukkit dev builds. (as shown here: http://tuxreminder.info/MobDisguise-DEV.jar) For anyone of you concerned with the legality of this version, desmin88's license states: "Hosting modified compiled source code is prohibited." The source code compiled for the jar I linked was not modified in any way.
The version created by SomeuserBms, on the other hand, violates desmin88's license's statement: "No modifications of source code may be made unless for personal use or too be contributed back to the original through forks." SomeuserBms has created another BukkitDev project rather than contributing to the original repository through forks. An interesting thing to note is that SomeuserBms had to actually copy and paste the whole license in order to place it within his own project, but still did not comply with it.
