Mob controlling system for Bukkit
Hello, i have made a plugin for bukkit to control how the mobs behave. This is the first official plugin i have made and I'm open for improvements to the plugin
Features
- Controlling if the endermen can pickup or place blocks
- Controlling if monster auto attacks you or only attacks when you attack them(You can self choose which mobs)
- Controlling creeper explosion
- Controlling monster spawning
- Controlling if monsters burn when it's sun
- Kill all mobs command
Todo
- Possibility to disable player damage when creeper blows up
- More, open to idea's

Install
Just put the plugin file in the plugins folder and start the server
Commands
- ControlMobs kill = Kills all hostile mobs(MobControll.admin and OP)
- ControlMobs reload = reloads config(MobControll.admin and OP)
Configuration
The configuration have 3 main "Things" to configure
- AutoAttack
- Enderman
- Creeper
The autoattack chooses if mobs automatic attacks humans in range, when a mob has autoattack configured to true they don't attack you and when it's false they attack you.
The Enderman config chooses if Endermen can Pickup and/or place blocks, if they are false the endermen can't do it.
The Creeper config chooses what happens when a creeper blows, you can choose if the world takes damage with CreateCrater and if the player the creeper attacked should get damage when it blows up(The player damage is not implantet yet)

im using a protection plugin and silverfish get past the protection system their spawning destroys ID 97 (almost all stone is this ID) and he doesnt think he can prevent them destroying it, can your plugin achieve this

@McJellyGooby I can't get anything out of the stackstrace, since it is not my plugin that is failing. or is it a modded version?

Awesome plugin, by the way. I wanted to ask you about this SEVERE error that pops up in my console around every 20 minutes when players are logged in:
Is this the result of an incompatibility with another plugin, or the CB build that I'm using? I'm using the latest RB build 1527.
Also, by disabling Creeper explosions, all explosions are disabled (TNT, etc.). Is there a way to disable individual explosion types? Please let me know, thanks!

Posted Dec 2, 2011I've been searching for awhile now, and I will ask, could you perhaps make your plugin prevent selected individual mobs from de-spawning? I along with the server owner who is a friend of mine, are trying to make a zoo, but the mobs de-spawn when players aren't near, and we want them not to. We'd love you forever if you did that, lol.

Posted Nov 26, 2011Yeah, my English isn't perfect, the plugin will be updated when CraftBukkit has a recommended version, with new features like stop mobs from spawning and stopping mobs from burning.

Posted Nov 22, 2011The mod is amazing! I have been looking for something like this for a while! Works just like its supposed to as well. I would like to see an option that allows toggling of whether mobs burn in daylight, that would be a nice feature to add. Other than that, its almost perfect (It causes some slight lag when fighting mobs).
Will you be updating to the latest devbuild?
