Where Stargate meets Minecraft - Add Stargates and the Goa'uld Ringtransporters to your world

About

This plugin allows you to create Stargates and ringtransporters and travel through them fast and stargate-authentic through your world:

It doesnt teleport only yourself: Ride with a horse through gates, put your villagers or animals inside lores and drive them through or simply enjoy the unique KAWOOSH-Animation, over and over again. Protect your Base by activating the Iris and see people running into it. Use the Ringtransporters to travel fast through your buildings or hide your chests in a hidden room. Your options are no limits... You can use multiple commands ("/mpgates help" to see them all ingame) and our new easy-use-features to controll your new ancient technologie.

Supports permissions and also different language-packs. With the config-data you get a very high level of control to set up your server.

Features

Everything you can see in the trailer is part of this plugin. While we are still testing, we only publish a very restricted version, cause we dont want you to damage your worlds.

With this plugin, you can do/have:

a unique kawoosh-animation
Create + get teleported by stargates
create + get teleported by ringtransporters
easy-use-features: close stargates by leftclicking them or activate/deactivate their iris with redstone
structure your gates in private networks
travel through stargates on vehicles or animals
send villagers,items or any other entitys through gates
protect your stargates with an iris
make your own Language-packs or edit them like you wish
permissions for every functionality

Released Version

Newest Version is 0.75. It provides everything seen in the cinematic trailer (except the rotating tunnel, thats Photoshop⁾

You can see all supported commands with "/mpgates help" and all features at our homepage.

Hi there, I got much errors on using your plugin on 1.14.4. Error appear within the server console on start and while try to create a gate. Do you know when you will get it ready to use on this bukkit version? Thanks in advance.

its not working, because only 1.10 is supported by MPGates.

There were so many changes to the API with the latest versions, for excamples they removed the blocks setState(). I need some time, to fix all the code. I will let you know, when its done ;-)

I installed multiverse core on 1.12 and tried to connect gates between two worlds but it is running on exceptions.

i fixed the code, so there is a new version available for 1.14.4 ;-) I uploaded it few minutes ago, but you can already download it from the homepage.

Please disregard my last post! I decided to delete the plugin config folder and let it recreate. I recreated a ring platform and it works! I also created two Stargates, then tested the connection.

Does The stargate work? Do the rings work? How do I use the stargate if it does work? I am using it for easy transport on my server because I love stargate please let me know. Thank you.

check out our homepages downloadsection! you will find a show-world with everything inside and some explanations! maybe this will help you to understand. my recording-software is buggy, so i couldnt do a tutorial for it yet!

hey talfury,

sorry for my really late answer: there is a showworld in our downloadsection now (homepage) there you can see how to build them. we updated the bug, that rings didnt work when the sign was showing in an other direction than north, so please get the newest build from the homepage!! (bukkit-download out of date atm!). you only have to rightclick the sign or add a redstone-signal to it, than the rings will activate!

i never had this glitch. could you do a video of it and post a link at our guestbook? i cant really imagine, what happens there to you!!

about the easy-use of switching through the names by keys: i had this idea too, but let it go, cause if you have more than 5-10 adresses, its really dumb to click them all through. I could do a mixture of commands and switching. i will think about it again. check out the homepage for further updates!

hi pajenicir, there is a show-world/demo-world at the downloadsection of our homepage! check it out to see how to build everything. the rings have to be exactly over each other, the signs too!!

the sign only needs one line "[rings]", if the text gets gold, you made the sign correctly. check out, if you used the right materials/blocks for building your rings! you can see it in the configuration-file.

Hello mistpilzGates ..

I sought to build the rings as you indicated in your site, however, the following message appears: "There seems to be in the rings around, That Could work the receiver"

My steps were: 1. Construct two layers of the ring as the site/ 2 Create the "DHD" with [RINGS] sign on the first line and the name (test) on the second line 3 - Build two more layers of rings above or below the initial ring Product information.

How can I solve the problem?
