MiningPermit
This is an old project that is now mostly abandoned. I will update it to make sure it works with 1.5.2 (DONE) although its untested so let me know any issues.
Mining permit allows users to buy mining permits for themselves (defualt cost 500) and others which for a set time (default 24 hours) allows them to mine and build below a set block level (changable). Ops automaticaly have a permit and do not have to pay when giving permits.
Commands included:
- /buypermit
- /givepermit [player name]
- /takepermit [player name]
- /banpermit [player name]
- /unbanpermit [player name]
Must be used with:
- Vault
Permission nodes:
- miningpermit.buy - lets the play buy themselves a mining permit
- miningpermit.give - lets the player buy permits for other players
- miningpermit.take - allows sender to remove a players mining permit
- miningpermit.ban - allowes sender to ban another player from buying mining permits
- miningpermit.unban - allowes the sender to unban a player from buying mining permits
- miningpermit.admin - gives player all above nodes
- miningpermit.no - payer cannot buy or give miningpermits

Posted Jul 1, 2013Ideas... 1. make it per world configurable. 2. make expiry time in minutes. 3. make a "time left" command for users to see how much time is left on their permit. 4. miningpermint.exempt , allows the player to never require a mining permit. 5. have multiple different length permits.

Sure algo160 that would be fine. as i said its an old project and as i'm currently in the last couple of weeks befor i find out if i go to university or not i don't have time to improve it. Be warned though i made this quite a while ago and have improved massively in my coding skills since then so don't think it will look pretty x3.

that would be much appreciated.
I really like the idea of letting players pay for a permit to mine, it brings another game perk to it all. With different worlds for with different ranks this would be ideal.

it apprears that this plugin Griefprevention breaks, your allowed in claims to break blocks but not place them back.(adminclaims and playerclaims)
This would be a great plugin IF this bug didn't happen (and has multiworld configs)
Untill this bug is fixed I wont be using this as the claims protection is very important to all players.

Posted Nov 25, 2012@DarkcryCraft. Unfortunately no. That is what i wanted to happen eventually but never got around to coding it. At the moment its world wide as in you cant mine below blah level unless you first buy a permit with a command. I have seen the plugin used in a few creative ways such as on rp servers where they don't want you to mine unless you can afford it or even as a primitive protection against players that come to grief by restricting just below the dirt level untill they play long enough o buy a permit. Or you could even just disallow players to buy permits an give them out manually etc...

im deff going to do the first one and maybe put a few ifferent options in this one plugin than making a couple of them.
i dont know about towny as i have had trouble with it in the past but ill take a look into it :)
