As most of you have already worked out, public support for this project has been non existent. Unfortunately with the workload of trying to manage and run a server network where minigames is only 1 out of what feels like 1000 projects we maintain... It gets hard trying to find time to help everyone.
But fear not this project is indeed not abandoned! We have moved the project to SpigotMC:

Please Note I have provided updated downloads for all versions back to 1.7 .. We are trying to get some idea of what versions people are running still and what we need to focus on...updating will help us target our product improvements.

Minigames is a plugin in which users can create and play several types of Minigames on a server, without the risk of losing items or XP when they die. Players can also use checkpoints so when they die, they are reverted back to that position.
The Possible Minigame types are:
- Single Player - for jump puzzles, mazes etc.
- Last Man Standing - A multiplayer Free for All (FFA) PvP Minigame
- Race - A Multiplayer race Minigame
- Team Deathmatch - A deathmatch round against 2 teams, first to a defined score wins!
- Deathmatch - A free for all deathmatch round against any predefined amount of players, first to a defined score wins!
- Spleef - Its possible to create custom Spleef arenas, as well as your standard spleef arena.
- Treasure Hunt - A global treasure finding Minigame that is always running
- CTF - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame.
- Infection - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame where the infected players must kill all survivors.

Purpose:
Minigames was created for players to play games within a server and win prizes for completion, also to let players play PvP games without the risk of losing their hard earned items and XP. Minigames also reward players for completing each Minigame, or with PvP Minigames, the player can be rewarded with 'bets' that players make before they start the Minigame. These bets can be in Economy money or preset items.
These Minigames can be created in any style the player wishes, for example, parkour jump puzzles, mazes and treasure hunts. As well as PvP games like CTF, races and more. You are given a lot of options to add to each Minigame individually, so they are all completely customisable.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- And the amount of players playing games. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

Players need to die to lose. Also - "/mgm set <Minigame> blocksdrop false"
You know, typing "/mgm set" will show a list of commands.

No issues at all, that error started showing up once I grabbed 1.4.0.
Just gives me a mini heart attack every time I glimpse at the console. Everyone is able to chat just fine and play the Minigames that are setup just fine.
Oh now that I am adding more and more treasure hunts, I have noticed its not always saving the configuration when I do with the commands.
Twice already had to stop the server, do it manually in the files and start the server to get it to work properly.

Okay, i got that now, but what about winning and losing? You dont lose when u pass the degen line. and the thing where 1000s of snowballs fall off of the snow when u hit them with shovel and break SUPER fast?

Might be a good idea if I add a variable to set the Y distance for the random too. I did intend the treasure to mostly spawn on the surface, but in cases with a smaller area, doesn't really work too well.

Well my spawn is rather small, I went to the center and set the hunts at 50m.
The sewers are about 10m below, and I also went ahead and covered every possible hole it can spawn that is not reachable.
Would it be better if I set the location while in the sewer?

If you can think of a fix let me know, would be great so the hunts last longer than 10 seconds. :D

Yeah someone told me about this, (in the tickets section). So its double chests? Thats a lot more help, no one told me it was the double chests causing the issue and now I know what the problem is.

Its weird, I coded it and sometimes I can't even figure it out. How it should work: Grab a random x, y, z from the start point using the radius specified. The Y is always above the start position, so by default it can be random between the start points Y and the top of the world (since Y is not as large as 1000) So it has a tonne of room in the sky to place it, then moves it to the first solid block below it, thats why its usually on the roof of a building or on a tree. However, I have had cases where it spawns in the deepest cave possible, with no reason. Thats a bug and I still haven't understood why it does that, but its happened ever since I made it.

I actually built a sewer system under spawn just for this Minigame, but have yet to see 1 spawn below. :(

Posted Jan 28, 2013I have a CTF arena, some of the chests are double chests and I notice when the game ends and we start another one in the same arena, the items of the chests are laying outside the chest on the ground. I've only noticed this with double chests and have not paid particular attention to single chests.

With CTF players cant manually return the flag and have to wait for it to return, had a quick look at all the flags and nothing hints of a way of changing this (Same with the config), can you add this feature please
