As most of you have already worked out, public support for this project has been non existent. Unfortunately with the workload of trying to manage and run a server network where minigames is only 1 out of what feels like 1000 projects we maintain... It gets hard trying to find time to help everyone.
But fear not this project is indeed not abandoned! We have moved the project to SpigotMC:

Please Note I have provided updated downloads for all versions back to 1.7 .. We are trying to get some idea of what versions people are running still and what we need to focus on...updating will help us target our product improvements.

Minigames is a plugin in which users can create and play several types of Minigames on a server, without the risk of losing items or XP when they die. Players can also use checkpoints so when they die, they are reverted back to that position.
The Possible Minigame types are:
- Single Player - for jump puzzles, mazes etc.
- Last Man Standing - A multiplayer Free for All (FFA) PvP Minigame
- Race - A Multiplayer race Minigame
- Team Deathmatch - A deathmatch round against 2 teams, first to a defined score wins!
- Deathmatch - A free for all deathmatch round against any predefined amount of players, first to a defined score wins!
- Spleef - Its possible to create custom Spleef arenas, as well as your standard spleef arena.
- Treasure Hunt - A global treasure finding Minigame that is always running
- CTF - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame.
- Infection - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame where the infected players must kill all survivors.

Purpose:
Minigames was created for players to play games within a server and win prizes for completion, also to let players play PvP games without the risk of losing their hard earned items and XP. Minigames also reward players for completing each Minigame, or with PvP Minigames, the player can be rewarded with 'bets' that players make before they start the Minigame. These bets can be in Economy money or preset items.
These Minigames can be created in any style the player wishes, for example, parkour jump puzzles, mazes and treasure hunts. As well as PvP games like CTF, races and more. You are given a lot of options to add to each Minigame individually, so they are all completely customisable.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- And the amount of players playing games. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

Posted Jan 24, 2013So, here's another odd one. In team specific loadouts with colored leather armor (red armor for red team, blue for blue team), I'm noticing that one or two hits later the players aren't wearing their armor anymore. Because it broke. Is there a way to freeze durability for armor such that it won't break at the slightest touch? Defeats the purpose of team-oriented armor sets if their armor drops on the first hit.

Minigames does not like /reload mostly after changing a bukkit.jar.
Do a restart and see if it works.

That happens to me to, shortly after they respawn after getting killed in the game but turn back to the red/blue color couple seconds after.
On another note. The players after they finish the game, sometimes they still end up with the in game inventory and restoreinv doesn't work on them. I am thinking it's a mod conflict. I'm using Scavenger ( http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/scavenger/ ) to auto restore people's inventory when they die. I use that plugin for those that are like mining and die in a lava pool or die of other reasons: creepers, zombies, etc. and that way they don't lose their items. Could this be a source of conflict _Razz_ ? Thank you.

Posted Jan 24, 2013I have the signs for the flags down as well as the minigame set to ctf.. I am not able to capture either flag. Running The lastest versions. I have the arena set as teamdm. Is there an extra step I am missing here? Also if i set it to kills. When someone is killed, It doesnt count it. So the game just keeps going till I end it.

Now there is another Problem. As soon as i reload my Server i can't join any Minigame anymore. It says the "minigame doesn't exist" althought it's listed in the /minigame list and in the config!

Posted Jan 24, 2013There a way to allow to players to join even if a game has started? And is there an a way i can edit the loadouts through a config? I couldnt find it. Also anyway loadouts can give armour that auto equips?

Minigames v1.4.0 is meant for Bukkit 1.4.7, make sure to upgrade and try again.

Posted Jan 24, 2013H'okay, with 1.4.7, and with MGM 1.4.0, I can confirm that neutral flags do work in TeamDM (so does TeamDM), but neutral flags do NOT work in DM. I was hoping to do a free for all 'King of the hill' mode with four flags on the outside and one capture point at the center, with points awarded to the DM players for each capture. In DM mode, you can not use the flag sign.

Sorry to sound like a noob, but I've started to mess around with plugins about 2 weeks ago. I don't know how to set permissions, is there any way I can make anyone join the minigame? Apparently you have to be OP in order to use /minigame join.

There are a whole bunch of video tutorials. The spleef one is old, as long as you set up spleef in a similar way to LMS its pretty easy.

Posted Jan 23, 2013I can't seem to change this in the config.yml ctf: flagrespawntime: 60 It just keeps reverting back to 60.
Also, could you make it so that when a player drops a flag, the opposing team can right click it and return it to their base? Opposed to having to wait the entire 60 seconds
