As most of you have already worked out, public support for this project has been non existent. Unfortunately with the workload of trying to manage and run a server network where minigames is only 1 out of what feels like 1000 projects we maintain... It gets hard trying to find time to help everyone.
But fear not this project is indeed not abandoned! We have moved the project to SpigotMC:

Minigames is a plugin in which users can create and play several types of Minigames on a server, without the risk of losing items or XP when they die. Players can also use checkpoints so when they die, they are reverted back to that position.
The Possible Minigame types are:
- Single Player - for jump puzzles, mazes etc.
- Last Man Standing - A multiplayer Free for All (FFA) PvP Minigame
- Race - A Multiplayer race Minigame
- Team Deathmatch - A deathmatch round against 2 teams, first to a defined score wins!
- Deathmatch - A free for all deathmatch round against any predefined amount of players, first to a defined score wins!
- Spleef - Its possible to create custom Spleef arenas, as well as your standard spleef arena.
- Treasure Hunt - A global treasure finding Minigame that is always running
- CTF - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame.
- Infection - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame where the infected players must kill all survivors.

Purpose:
Minigames was created for players to play games within a server and win prizes for completion, also to let players play PvP games without the risk of losing their hard earned items and XP. Minigames also reward players for completing each Minigame, or with PvP Minigames, the player can be rewarded with 'bets' that players make before they start the Minigame. These bets can be in Economy money or preset items.
These Minigames can be created in any style the player wishes, for example, parkour jump puzzles, mazes and treasure hunts. As well as PvP games like CTF, races and more. You are given a lot of options to add to each Minigame individually, so they are all completely customisable.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- And the amount of players playing games. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

Okay no worries, can't wait till it get fixed, this plugin is amazing and a ton of my players enjoy it. Let me know if you need anything..dupes have been breaking out for those still in mini game when they are killed.

Posted Dec 27, 2012Ok I believe I made Minigames reload safe again, but I still can't reproduce the Null gamemode issue.
I must be missing something here or it just randomly fixed itself as the reload compatibility did. If anyone can help me out with this issue it'd be much appreciated.

Weird, some of my players act as if they are still in the minigame and can't quit and they were never in gamemode or anything, normal survival players.
Also, there is no way to stop faction members from losing power on death from minigames is there?

Ok there are 2 ways to set a restore block. The first is to stand on the block you wish to restore and issue the command. The second way is to look at the block you wish to add as a restore block and issue the same command, but put -l at the end. This will then use the block you are looking at.

I have been messing around with heaps of Hunger games plugins, but have had no luck, so I decided to use this, for the Chest Restore, I have set them all but it comes up with this.. Saved block "GRASS" for <minigame> under the name <restorename>?? is it meant to be grass because in your LMS tutorial it says Chest! please help because I don't want to mess this up like the last 100 plugins I've tried :(

Posted Dec 27, 2012One major bug crunched! I'll work on the other tomorrow. For the people who can't use commands, turns out if you don't have vault, the commands don't work. (You should probably get it temporarily for now).
Still a little stumped on the Gamemode one though. I'll try get it fixed ASAP.

Server has been fully rebooted, somtimes players can't do normal activities after playing some mini games, and if they try /minigames quit they get an internal error. Only way to fix this is a server restart. But it quickly occurs not too long after again. When we try to leave:

Some plugin devs think its a good idea to set respawn priority to highest for their home/spawn plugin. Them doing that overwrites other plugins that require spawn priority at a certain time (such as Minigames). If this is the case, its unfixable from my plugin. I know for certain that Essentials spawn and home does not overwrite Minigames respawning. If you are not using that as your plugin its a great alternative.

If you reloaded the server, player based commands cease to work. A full reboot must be performed.
