As most of you have already worked out, public support for this project has been non existent. Unfortunately with the workload of trying to manage and run a server network where minigames is only 1 out of what feels like 1000 projects we maintain... It gets hard trying to find time to help everyone.
But fear not this project is indeed not abandoned! We have moved the project to SpigotMC:

Minigames is a plugin in which users can create and play several types of Minigames on a server, without the risk of losing items or XP when they die. Players can also use checkpoints so when they die, they are reverted back to that position.
The Possible Minigame types are:
- Single Player - for jump puzzles, mazes etc.
- Last Man Standing - A multiplayer Free for All (FFA) PvP Minigame
- Race - A Multiplayer race Minigame
- Team Deathmatch - A deathmatch round against 2 teams, first to a defined score wins!
- Deathmatch - A free for all deathmatch round against any predefined amount of players, first to a defined score wins!
- Spleef - Its possible to create custom Spleef arenas, as well as your standard spleef arena.
- Treasure Hunt - A global treasure finding Minigame that is always running
- CTF - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame.
- Infection - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame where the infected players must kill all survivors.

Purpose:
Minigames was created for players to play games within a server and win prizes for completion, also to let players play PvP games without the risk of losing their hard earned items and XP. Minigames also reward players for completing each Minigame, or with PvP Minigames, the player can be rewarded with 'bets' that players make before they start the Minigame. These bets can be in Economy money or preset items.
These Minigames can be created in any style the player wishes, for example, parkour jump puzzles, mazes and treasure hunts. As well as PvP games like CTF, races and more. You are given a lot of options to add to each Minigame individually, so they are all completely customisable.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- And the amount of players playing games. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

Shut down the server full stop for maintainence,
Delete all minigames information,
Drag and drop the minigames.jar into the plugin folder.
Launch server, Check Logs for problems.
Should work fine now. (NOT all plugins can just be reloaded in, some require a shutdown.)

Amazing work man, I love what you've done. Out of every spleef plugin I've tried using, This one actually STILL works, and I love all the new minigames you are adding that I can use for my server. Thanks for this amazing plugin and please, keep up the good work!

When i try to create a new minigame it gives me the text saying "invalid command" but the minigames i created before work fine and i can play just I cannot use any commands from the plugin itself like /minigame quit to exit and stuff......
Is anyone else gettting this problem? or have a solution to this? Please help thanks :D

Im going through my server logs to find something. i DO know that single player games are not affected. I have seen this happen to RACE and SPLEEF games. LMS seems to be ok.
Game mode prior to joining is Survival.
Edit: Writing ticket instead :P

Posted Dec 25, 2012Ok yes I am aware of the major bug with the game modes messing up and stopping minigames from working. If you do encounter major errors like these, do not post them in comments. There is a ticket page for this kind of thing. I also need steps on how to reproduce the problem or how the problem occurred. I check the tickets section regularly for bug reports and feature suggestions, and I'd rather them posted there with more detail then brief descriptions in the comments section.
Also if anyone could give me details to what Minigame type this is occurring in (or all of them) and also what game mode the player was in to begin with. I'm fairly certain its just to do with data not being saved correctly, but I'm not sure if its from all Minigames or just one.

Posted Dec 24, 2012I'm having problems with the Team Deathmatch, where in players will be unable to join when they click on the sign-they won't teleport or receive acknowledgement of any kind. What it will do, however, it consider them to be in gamemode than break all the other Mini-Games on the server.

I had to set my minigame world to adventure for some reason, if not I kept getting "Cannot change gamemode in minigame" message.
Which is fine cause Mobarena/Paintball seem to work fine even in that mode. :D
From looking at console I noticed each time someone disconnects while in a minigame it would spit out this error as well.

As long as I don't restart or delete the playerinv.yml I don't have to worry about them learning a way to dupe again. :p
I don't do reloads though, so it wasn't from that.

Yay bugs galore! I'm still having a hard time understanding how the players gamemode results to being Null. As for the duplication glitch, I assume it had something to do with reboots? Also I found that Minigames appears to no longer be reload safe. (rebooting is fine). I'll get these fixed as soon as I can.

I want to recommend Privileges as permission plugin, its the closest to pex in terms of setup. With some notepadplusplus magic, you would be good to go in a very short time.

Posted Dec 23, 2012Somehow my 2nd Race broke, which caused this to happen to most Minigames when they tried to quit

I thought a restart would fix it, so I did.
Then 10 mins later, someone complained same issue so I decided to get rid of the newly created Race.
Restarted again cause /mgm set race2 enabled false, gave an error.
Back to back restarts to fix this, and found out 2 players (friends/allies of eachother) on my server found a way to dupe.
Had something to do with restoring items I believe.
Proof was that they had same items with same usage (/itemdb) multiplied many times.
And they kept requesting for restart after the error stopped.
Config
The Minigame config (not general one) was not syncing correctly to the commands I did.
/mgm set race2 maxplayers 3
In the config it showed something else.
Many edits to make it clear

Thanks for reply _Razz_ Could be a permissions problem. Using latest PEX dev version. I did add minigames.* to Admins, but still didn't work. Just wondering, which Permissions plug-in are you using?

Mine are running fine. Are your permissions broken? Any console errors? I also extensively checked commands before uploading. I changed the whole command system and checked every command.

Posted Dec 23, 2012after updating to to CB 1.4.6-R0.1 and Minigames v1.3.4a, I can no longer issue any /minigame commands. All commands return the following error.... Invalid command. Type "/minigame help" for help Existing minigame signs/games still work, just can create new or run any /minigame commands. Help. Any suggestions?

Yes, secondary rewards are given after the first win, every time a player completes it.

Can you tell me when that happens? What sign? (Or if its not even someone right clicking a Minigames sign)
