Minigames

== NOTICE == 9 Aug 2016 ==
As most of you have already worked out, public support for this project has been non existent. Unfortunately with the workload of trying to manage and run a server network where minigames is only 1 out of what feels like 1000 projects we maintain... It gets hard trying to find time to help everyone.
But fear not this project is indeed not abandoned! We have moved the project to SpigotMC:

++Update Note Aug 2017++
Please Note I have provided updated downloads for all versions back to 1.7 .. We are trying to get some idea of what versions people are running still and what we need to focus on...updating will help us target our product improvements.
The files section contains various version downloads OR you can dowload them : - here
Minigames is a plugin in which users can create and play several types of Minigames on a server, without the risk of losing items or XP when they die. Players can also use checkpoints so when they die, they are reverted back to that position.
The Possible Minigame types are:
- Single Player - for jump puzzles, mazes etc.
- Last Man Standing - A multiplayer Free for All (FFA) PvP Minigame
- Race - A Multiplayer race Minigame
- Team Deathmatch - A deathmatch round against 2 teams, first to a defined score wins!
- Deathmatch - A free for all deathmatch round against any predefined amount of players, first to a defined score wins!
- Spleef - Its possible to create custom Spleef arenas, as well as your standard spleef arena.
- Treasure Hunt - A global treasure finding Minigame that is always running
- CTF - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame.
- Infection - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame where the infected players must kill all survivors.
Features:
- Prizes for completing a Minigame
- Economy support (Requires Vault)
- All command configuration for creating Minigames
- Completely customisable, lots of settings to create your own styled Minigame.
- Ability to create multiple loadouts
- Inventory saving
- XP saving
- Minigame regeneration (slightly limited)
- Timers
- An automated update checker for OP's (Can be turned off in the main config by setting updateChecker to false)
- SQL completion data storage for websites or more informative data (Requires SQLibrary)
- And lots more!
Click here for videos of this plugin in action.
Purpose:
Minigames was created for players to play games within a server and win prizes for completion, also to let players play PvP games without the risk of losing their hard earned items and XP. Minigames also reward players for completing each Minigame, or with PvP Minigames, the player can be rewarded with 'bets' that players make before they start the Minigame. These bets can be in Economy money or preset items.
These Minigames can be created in any style the player wishes, for example, parkour jump puzzles, mazes and treasure hunts. As well as PvP games like CTF, races and more. You are given a lot of options to add to each Minigame individually, so they are all completely customisable.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- And the amount of players playing games. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

Posted Nov 6, 2014@RaphaelSimon - Hmm sounds like a permission plugin fault. I just tested this on my server using Pex and it still blocked its usage.
@Gelgoog135 - Yes you can reset the primary reward you have to clear the database so there are no players in there "finishing" it. Then they will be treated like new again and will get the primary reward.
As for the function of counting the time used by players. Already requested. Possibly looked into.
@DexterT28 - It should work fine.. Make sure you dont have worldguard or something stopping you from breaking blocks, then make sure the minigame is setup to firstly have "blockbreak true" and if using a whitelist make sure to add web to the whitelist
@ShadowDragon7015 - yeah just add a reward AND a secondary reward as normal and dont change its rarity or anything. Leave them on normal and the players will always get the secondary reward after each successful play through.
@playstation455 - minigames.sign.use.loadout is just for allowing your players to use your loadout signs. if you do minigames.sign.use.loadout.loadoutnamehere and if you change the setting for that loadout to "use permission" it means no one can use that loadout unless they have that specific permission with its name in it

Posted Nov 6, 2014Is there possible to make a VillageShop and make them shop items which they can bring in-game? That would be awesome in the next updates as Im running a MiniGames server (its a HUB but Minigames is primary focus in the server. :) )

Posted Oct 28, 2014Important Bug
The block break and block whitelist and blacklist don't work. I have an item I made using the crackshot plugin, when you shoot someone with it, a cob web spawns by their feet, but if you are unable to break it, it will take a long time to get out and will be too overpowered.

Posted Oct 20, 2014@Mac_Attack_Minecraft - it should, though technically it was built against 1.7.9 but it should.
@ChillerKraft - A command trigger like what? My previous comment? Its a bit trickier but its with the new dev stuff with regions and nodes. It would take alot of mucking about. Basically just set a region around the game, and have it trigger on *insert trigger name* and make its action be Console command *command* If you havent played with the new devs then that wont make any sense haha.
Same with deaths. It maybe possible with the new devs but the current stable build there isnt anything there that does anything with it

Posted Oct 17, 2014@TheBaconator156 - nah there isnt sorry. If you have an external plugin like clear lagg or something that you can run a command to remove the ground items. You could use the latest devs and setup a region around the game. It's trigger would be GAME_END and then you could get it to run the console command to remove dropped items.
Apart from that there isnt a way. You could always suggest it in a ticket, though i wouldnt expect it quickly

Posted Oct 14, 2014@XgodofwarX - dealt with your problem in your ticket you created
@simpi91 You can actually set different defaults for red and blue by doing /mg set gamename loadout create Red etc.. (I think its that way... wiki is down for me atm to check and im running devs which are vastly different now) If you are running the devs then you can create what ever loadout name you want and in the /mg edit settings you can "lock" a specific loadout to a team
@Muaath - you will need to make a ticket with your config for the game that happens in along with any and all helpful info. (minigames version, server version any errors in console etc etc) The more info the better
@ChillerKraft - answered your problem in your ticket. Need much much more info
