As most of you have already worked out, public support for this project has been non existent. Unfortunately with the workload of trying to manage and run a server network where minigames is only 1 out of what feels like 1000 projects we maintain... It gets hard trying to find time to help everyone.
But fear not this project is indeed not abandoned! We have moved the project to SpigotMC:

Please Note I have provided updated downloads for all versions back to 1.7 .. We are trying to get some idea of what versions people are running still and what we need to focus on...updating will help us target our product improvements.

Minigames is a plugin in which users can create and play several types of Minigames on a server, without the risk of losing items or XP when they die. Players can also use checkpoints so when they die, they are reverted back to that position.
The Possible Minigame types are:
- Single Player - for jump puzzles, mazes etc.
- Last Man Standing - A multiplayer Free for All (FFA) PvP Minigame
- Race - A Multiplayer race Minigame
- Team Deathmatch - A deathmatch round against 2 teams, first to a defined score wins!
- Deathmatch - A free for all deathmatch round against any predefined amount of players, first to a defined score wins!
- Spleef - Its possible to create custom Spleef arenas, as well as your standard spleef arena.
- Treasure Hunt - A global treasure finding Minigame that is always running
- CTF - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame.
- Infection - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame where the infected players must kill all survivors.

Purpose:
Minigames was created for players to play games within a server and win prizes for completion, also to let players play PvP games without the risk of losing their hard earned items and XP. Minigames also reward players for completing each Minigame, or with PvP Minigames, the player can be rewarded with 'bets' that players make before they start the Minigame. These bets can be in Economy money or preset items.
These Minigames can be created in any style the player wishes, for example, parkour jump puzzles, mazes and treasure hunts. As well as PvP games like CTF, races and more. You are given a lot of options to add to each Minigame individually, so they are all completely customisable.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- And the amount of players playing games. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

I'd say so. I never tested on 1.6.4, and since the menus have 1.7.2 stuff in them I wouldn't recommend you use them anyway. Meaning until you update, you'll have to use MG1.5.3

Posted Feb 1, 2014alright i've fixed my loadout issue, but was wondering if there's a way to make it so after a game ends, the items dropped on death disappear. i made a hungergames minigame..i'm using the 1.5.3 version.

double clicking did nothing...nothing i do click wise does anything with the loadouts.. other than adding, naming, and deleting. :/
btw i'm on a 1.6.4 server using version 1.6.1, if that means anything. which now that i think about it, it probably Does seeing as that's for 1.7.2...

Posted Jan 31, 2014the reason why i say it's harder is because literally, when i try to use it. instead of an icon or even a menu for adjusting the minigame loadout i get this:
The second pane of glass is the first loadout, the first being the 'default'. the only option it gives me is to shift right click to delete. clicking it and right clicking it does Nothing. and when testing the loadout, it's empty. please help.

I don't see how a fully customisable inventory could be harder than commands. Make sure you read the wiki correctly on using the loadouts.

Also potion effects disappear when the player die. Bug?

Posted Jan 30, 2014Razz I really don't like the loadout function you changed :c It was so much easier with doing commands... I can't figure it out with the way it is now x.x I see on the example pic that there's supposed to be a chest, potion etc but I'm not able to reach it on my screen :/ Will I still be able to add custom potion effects such as speed 5 and jump boost 7 ?
Edit: When I left click on a new loadout i've created, the icon turns to a pane of glass and nothing happens. Bug?

Its the call order of them. Thats something bukkit handles. I have mine set to highest, thats the best I can do, yet other plugins can still modify this. For example if another plugin has their event at highest and its called after my highest event, they will take the priority. So its up to them to fix it. Sorry but theres really nothing I can do.

Posted Jan 29, 2014Hey, love the plugin! I have a few questions though:
Is there a way to set the waiting for additional players time for each game individually? I see where you can do it for all in the config, but I'm not seeing an individual game setting. (Some games seem like they need more time than others)
Is there a way to make the players warp to their starting positions and then have the start timer count down with them frozen in place or something to that effect? Again, not seeing it if it is an option.
Also is there a way to announce that someone is waiting for more players to join a specific game when the first person clicks on the sign, so the whole server knows a game is about to start?
Sorry if these have already been answered, and thanks for any help!

I think its IslandWorld (skyblock replacement) plugin.
Multiverse is turned off for respawing. I also set essentials to handlle respawns at lowest and we still go to spawn when we die.
Honestly, this is the only plugin that I have ever had a problem. But every build, I test to see if it works a little better and I still have this problem. War plugin, battlearena, countless plugins and they all handle respawing perfectly fine??

Probably a plugin overriding spawns. If you have any special spawn plugins or home plugins, you may need to change their priority on spawning players (if possible). If you can't I suggest using essentials to handle spawn and homes.

Like a leader board thing? Only possible if you have an SQL database. If you do, just follow the instructions on the wiki about scoreboard signs.
