As most of you have already worked out, public support for this project has been non existent. Unfortunately with the workload of trying to manage and run a server network where minigames is only 1 out of what feels like 1000 projects we maintain... It gets hard trying to find time to help everyone.
But fear not this project is indeed not abandoned! We have moved the project to SpigotMC:

Please Note I have provided updated downloads for all versions back to 1.7 .. We are trying to get some idea of what versions people are running still and what we need to focus on...updating will help us target our product improvements.

Minigames is a plugin in which users can create and play several types of Minigames on a server, without the risk of losing items or XP when they die. Players can also use checkpoints so when they die, they are reverted back to that position.
The Possible Minigame types are:
- Single Player - for jump puzzles, mazes etc.
- Last Man Standing - A multiplayer Free for All (FFA) PvP Minigame
- Race - A Multiplayer race Minigame
- Team Deathmatch - A deathmatch round against 2 teams, first to a defined score wins!
- Deathmatch - A free for all deathmatch round against any predefined amount of players, first to a defined score wins!
- Spleef - Its possible to create custom Spleef arenas, as well as your standard spleef arena.
- Treasure Hunt - A global treasure finding Minigame that is always running
- CTF - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame.
- Infection - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame where the infected players must kill all survivors.

Purpose:
Minigames was created for players to play games within a server and win prizes for completion, also to let players play PvP games without the risk of losing their hard earned items and XP. Minigames also reward players for completing each Minigame, or with PvP Minigames, the player can be rewarded with 'bets' that players make before they start the Minigame. These bets can be in Economy money or preset items.
These Minigames can be created in any style the player wishes, for example, parkour jump puzzles, mazes and treasure hunts. As well as PvP games like CTF, races and more. You are given a lot of options to add to each Minigame individually, so they are all completely customisable.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- And the amount of players playing games. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

It shouldn't happen. Are you restarting properly (works on the server I'm on). As in using the stop command?

Oh my God thank you for that menu. I would always forget to set stuff, which we worked out before releasing the game, but this is a lot easier than testing for "Did I remember everything" and instead we can work out bugs in the gameplay.

Posted Jan 8, 2014Is there any way to prevent inventory problems on server restart? So everything is great and no one looses there old inventory after a game but if someone is playing and the server restarts (I have autorestart every two hours), when the player joins again he has the minigame inventory and looses his old one?

Yes it does support them. No it has nothing to do with the flat file saving. Did you completely stop the server before changing the settings? Sometimes I think Minigames overwrites it (Something I need to fix).

Yes, just edit them, loadouts use the Menu system now. You can do this via the loadout command or the edit command.

Yes. Minigames does not enchant items though, that is something you can either do in creative mode via the anvil and books or a separate plugin.

Posted Jan 7, 2014Is minigames supposed to be compatible with MySQL databases? If so mine wont connect even tho every other plugin that uses the database can? Would it have something to do with the fact that i been using minigames with flat files and just tryed to use the database since the update?

Is there any way i can re enable the armor given in the armor slots instead of the inv? :)
I know there the new feature to add a specific item to a specific slot. But i already had some loadouts made before the new release. So instead of remaking them anything else i can do?

Believe me, it is :) I put a heap of effort into this one to make it work properly. There is a lot of information on using it on the wiki too (Tutorials and individual button usages) so make sure you check that out if you're not sure on something.

Also try stopping the server first, then modifying the file (config.yml). Sometimes it does some strange things and I'm not sure why. If you're still having problems get back to me.

Posted Jan 7, 2014Congratulations for your plugin :) In the new version 1.6, i tried to edit the file en_AU.yml and save a new fle fr_FR. I started translations and modified the config.yml but it is always the english basic translation.

Posted Jan 6, 2014News: Minigames 1.6.0 for CB 1.7.2 and above will be available soon. It is currently awaiting Bukkit's approval to be accessed by everyone. Its been a long update but has a few big features that did take me a while. I'd like to thank everyone for their patience.
Also remember to report any bugs you find to the Tickets page, not here in the comments. I don't check this section as regularly and problems can get lost here.

No, Minigames 1.6 will only be compatible with 1.7.2+

Not without a restore block on each one. TNT regen is a major thing needed for Minigames, the only reason its not there is because Bukkit refuse to add an event to get when a TNT block is ignited. My regeneration runs off events rather than an entire copy of an arena, without that event I cannot revert TNT ignition, only the explosion (I may eventually add unreliable ways to detect it eventually, but I can't guarantee it).

If I make a TnT run minigame, one some of the TnT etc. seems to be replaced:

The three players in this game of TnT run were on the colours Blue, Yellow and the Red. Looking to see if we could find what went wrong to help you out here, we think we spotted a pattern: The winner's trail is reset (at least nearly all of it is anyway) (the red) whereas the blue and yellow player trails appeared to remain. However, this might just be a coincidence as the red trail still remains partially.

and there is a few bugs that I hoping an update well come out to fix them
bugs
1 - players well lose there stuff after a minigame they came in with
2 - players well have the INV's replaced with the kit after the minigame

Posted Jan 5, 2014Is there a way to get tnt explosions to regenerate after a minigame is done similar to the way if a player breaks a block and it regens except TNT. I ask this because i created a pirate ship Team Dm and i created a TNT cannon to use in the battle. If there is a way pls respond if anyone knows? Right now the map is useless:/
