As most of you have already worked out, public support for this project has been non existent. Unfortunately with the workload of trying to manage and run a server network where minigames is only 1 out of what feels like 1000 projects we maintain... It gets hard trying to find time to help everyone.
But fear not this project is indeed not abandoned! We have moved the project to SpigotMC:

Minigames is a plugin in which users can create and play several types of Minigames on a server, without the risk of losing items or XP when they die. Players can also use checkpoints so when they die, they are reverted back to that position.
The Possible Minigame types are:
- Single Player - for jump puzzles, mazes etc.
- Last Man Standing - A multiplayer Free for All (FFA) PvP Minigame
- Race - A Multiplayer race Minigame
- Team Deathmatch - A deathmatch round against 2 teams, first to a defined score wins!
- Deathmatch - A free for all deathmatch round against any predefined amount of players, first to a defined score wins!
- Spleef - Its possible to create custom Spleef arenas, as well as your standard spleef arena.
- Treasure Hunt - A global treasure finding Minigame that is always running
- CTF - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame.
- Infection - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame where the infected players must kill all survivors.

Purpose:
Minigames was created for players to play games within a server and win prizes for completion, also to let players play PvP games without the risk of losing their hard earned items and XP. Minigames also reward players for completing each Minigame, or with PvP Minigames, the player can be rewarded with 'bets' that players make before they start the Minigame. These bets can be in Economy money or preset items.
These Minigames can be created in any style the player wishes, for example, parkour jump puzzles, mazes and treasure hunts. As well as PvP games like CTF, races and more. You are given a lot of options to add to each Minigame individually, so they are all completely customisable.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- And the amount of players playing games. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

Ok thanks, another thing if a player is sitting in a vehicle like a boat or minecart or in my case a chair (This is using the chairs plugin which allows you to sit on stairs) then they wont be teleported into the game but will stay in the lobby/waiting area.
I know that this is a minor bug so you dont have to fix it straight away

I decide to take a look at CrackShot and I found the problem. It's in the minigame config file. I got it to work by going into the config file and deleting the "?". See example below. If you remove the "?" in the display-name all will work well again. However this is a error in Crackshot I think, not minigames as it also happens in your inventory outside of a minigame if you reload the server and have a gun in your inventory. I will report this to the Crackshot makers.

Posted Oct 4, 2013Could someone please help me if they're familiar with Minigames and Crackshot? I'm trying to use CrackShot with Minigames. We're only using default classes, but when we use the guns in the minigame kits, they don't work after a server reload. So we'll add the gun to a class and it works, but after reloading everything works from the class except the guns stop firing.
Could anyone help me fix this please? It's a major plugin in my server and we can't use most of out games until we fix this. I love this plugin and would like to keep it if possible.
Any help would be appreciated.

Minigames currently has no teleport command (not till soon anyway). iskillzi, there is no way to use another plugin to teleport a player while in a Minigame. This is there to prevent cheating or taking items from a game.

I believe I added a SLOT variable in rewards in the current version, basically you hold the item you wish to set as the reward and type:
/minigame set <Minigame> reward SLOT

Aha, I see what you mean now.
I'm pretty sure you can do this however I'm not 100% sure how..
in the minigames config file you can access the disabled commands and I'm pretty sure yours has "- warp" in there, to allow them specific warps I'm not entirely sure how but I figure if you set up the config like this:
Disabled Commands:
- -warp [warpname]
- warp
then that'll negate disabling (aka enable) the specific warp for minigames but I think that would allow them to use that warp inside any minigame..

Posted Oct 2, 2013Hi _Razz_ I have noticed a conflict between your plugin and the Deathswap core plugin by Hawkfalcon. I wasnt sure who to report this to so im reporting it to both of you
Basically what happens is that while I am in a minigame if I die then minigames tells me in chat that I cannot change my gamemode (even though I didnt) and items stop working and slowly disappear. But if I disable the deathswap plugin then items now work as expected and that message in chat does not appear

This works fine on the server, but I am actually looking for something that will work within a minigame itself. If you use this, the minigame just tells you that you can't teleport when within a minigame.

Yes sir, I do this on my server in fact.
first set up a warp to where you want them to go (this will work with multiworlds)
then make a warp or whatever you want for them to walk onto to be teleported.
put down a command block directly in the middle block of the teleporter (where they walk on)
in the command block type exactly this: "sudo @p warp [warpname]"
put a pressure plate on the command block by holding shift > right click
and now whenever someone walks on it they'll do the command warp [warpname].
To set the teleporter up say you want white wool borders
Wool = X
Command Block = O
Air = A
------------------------X-X-X
------------------------X-A-X
------------------------X-A-X

I love it how the loadouts can be saved as what's in your inventory allowing people to use items from other plugins in the mini-games such as guns from CrackShot. I like how flexible it is too! Thank you so much for this amazing plugin and please continue to work on it!!!

Yes, you can. Make the enchanted item you want as the reward and put it in your hand.
/mg set <mg name> reward SLOT
this will make whatever item you are holding into the reward, for the first time the game is won by a player.
/mg set <mg name> reward2 SLOT
this will make whatever item you are holding into the reward, for every other time the game is won by a player.
SLOT must be capitalized.
