As most of you have already worked out, public support for this project has been non existent. Unfortunately with the workload of trying to manage and run a server network where minigames is only 1 out of what feels like 1000 projects we maintain... It gets hard trying to find time to help everyone.
But fear not this project is indeed not abandoned! We have moved the project to SpigotMC:

Minigames is a plugin in which users can create and play several types of Minigames on a server, without the risk of losing items or XP when they die. Players can also use checkpoints so when they die, they are reverted back to that position.
The Possible Minigame types are:
- Single Player - for jump puzzles, mazes etc.
- Last Man Standing - A multiplayer Free for All (FFA) PvP Minigame
- Race - A Multiplayer race Minigame
- Team Deathmatch - A deathmatch round against 2 teams, first to a defined score wins!
- Deathmatch - A free for all deathmatch round against any predefined amount of players, first to a defined score wins!
- Spleef - Its possible to create custom Spleef arenas, as well as your standard spleef arena.
- Treasure Hunt - A global treasure finding Minigame that is always running
- CTF - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame.
- Infection - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame where the infected players must kill all survivors.

Purpose:
Minigames was created for players to play games within a server and win prizes for completion, also to let players play PvP games without the risk of losing their hard earned items and XP. Minigames also reward players for completing each Minigame, or with PvP Minigames, the player can be rewarded with 'bets' that players make before they start the Minigame. These bets can be in Economy money or preset items.
These Minigames can be created in any style the player wishes, for example, parkour jump puzzles, mazes and treasure hunts. As well as PvP games like CTF, races and more. You are given a lot of options to add to each Minigame individually, so they are all completely customisable.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- And the amount of players playing games. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

Posted Aug 31, 2013I'd like to report a possible major bug please. I use the plugin crackshot in my minigames classes. This stops the guns from working.
Every time I reload / stop & start the server the config changes in the globalloadouts. eg gun ak-47 . 30 This config with replace the ' . ' with a ' ? '
Does anyone know what the problem is?

Yes, it was a pointless command because you still need a bet sign (so really the sign is the option).

Its not required to be updated (It works fine with no issues), but I do have one on the way.

I do like that betting idea, I'll see if I can come up with a way to implement it.
@vertigolf
A lot of people are using plugins which alter the scoreboard (Health-bar being one). I'm not 100% sure on why they modify it all the time, but if you do find things like this, I'll see if I can fix them (if not, I'll contact the mod author of the plugin that causes the issue).

Posted Aug 30, 2013I seem to be having a problem with bets. When I type: "/mgm set The_Tube bets true" (The_Tube is a minigame) All I get is the list of all commands for set, as if bets/bet/betting does not exist. Only problem so far and I need help. (I even tried through console to no avail).

Edit: Bets seem to be working without enabling them. I guess they are set to default now?

If your referring to trouble in terrorist town, why would he take time to add that when their are plugins specifically designed to do that already?
As for the plugin, I would like to see the ability to set how much it costs to enter a bet-enabled match, so we can make tiers of competition, like matches that cost upwards of 100 diamonds. Make it intense!

I believe everyone has that issue you will also notice on tdm and ctf, friendly fire will also randomly be on when the scoreboard is not there. Please crate a ticket about this incident, the more attention on this matter the faster he will respond and fix this issue.

Have you ever heard of a period? Holyshitrunonsectencecrap. Anyway, if you have a singleplayer minigame you should respawn at the same place that you started it as. Like if you spawn into A upon entering the minigame, but then run past B and into C, then die at D, you should respawn back at A. You have the option to add checkpoint signs.

Try left clicking the sign, it should show you information about it. Remember to do so in survival mode or youll have to remake the sign.

Set the area to regenerate after the match ends using:
/mgm set [Minigame Name] regenarea 1
/mgm set [Minigame Name] regenarea 2
So then everything between the two blocks you set will regenerate every time the match ends. Remember, large areas regening can bring down servers. Use intelligently.

The command /mgm set [Minigame Name] type random [%]~ will set the percent of blocks to degenerate every period of time that you set with /mgm set [Minigame Name] time [time in seconds]~ So in order to make it randomly degen 1% every 5 seconds, these two command will need to be ran:
/mgm set [Minigame Name] type random [1]
/mgm set [Minigame Name] time [5]

You need to allow build/destroy perms in the arena, but protect anything outside of it obviously. This can most easily do this using regions. Then, once players are able to break the arena, use these to commands to set the regen area:
/mgm set [Minigame Name] regenarea 1
