As most of you have already worked out, public support for this project has been non existent. Unfortunately with the workload of trying to manage and run a server network where minigames is only 1 out of what feels like 1000 projects we maintain... It gets hard trying to find time to help everyone.
But fear not this project is indeed not abandoned! We have moved the project to SpigotMC:

Minigames is a plugin in which users can create and play several types of Minigames on a server, without the risk of losing items or XP when they die. Players can also use checkpoints so when they die, they are reverted back to that position.
The Possible Minigame types are:
- Single Player - for jump puzzles, mazes etc.
- Last Man Standing - A multiplayer Free for All (FFA) PvP Minigame
- Race - A Multiplayer race Minigame
- Team Deathmatch - A deathmatch round against 2 teams, first to a defined score wins!
- Deathmatch - A free for all deathmatch round against any predefined amount of players, first to a defined score wins!
- Spleef - Its possible to create custom Spleef arenas, as well as your standard spleef arena.
- Treasure Hunt - A global treasure finding Minigame that is always running
- CTF - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame.
- Infection - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame where the infected players must kill all survivors.

Purpose:
Minigames was created for players to play games within a server and win prizes for completion, also to let players play PvP games without the risk of losing their hard earned items and XP. Minigames also reward players for completing each Minigame, or with PvP Minigames, the player can be rewarded with 'bets' that players make before they start the Minigame. These bets can be in Economy money or preset items.
These Minigames can be created in any style the player wishes, for example, parkour jump puzzles, mazes and treasure hunts. As well as PvP games like CTF, races and more. You are given a lot of options to add to each Minigame individually, so they are all completely customisable.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- And the amount of players playing games. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

Snow seems to work fine with shovel though.
Also using compiled version on Git. :)

Posted Aug 10, 2013Can Finnish signs be set to only certain minigames?
for example I would like to have multiple levels to some jump tests .. this way I can use the same map and add on to the end of it for the higher level players.. I already tried making a sign like this:

however this still works for any game.

The video tutorials are old, spleef is not either a valid game type. Use "dm" for spleef and lms. If you want updated tutorials, choose the text ones -> http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/minigames/pages/minigame-creation-tutorials/

mgm set <gamename> type lms
It says that lms is not a known type.
This looks the same to me as the tutorials I've seen, has lms been removed ? or am I doing something lame ?

Posted Aug 10, 2013Hi, we all love the plugin on our server and have setup two games. A DeathMatch and a CTF, but we've noticed that when the server crashes that all the game's settings get reset. Each time the server starts up I have to manually reset a lot of the settings. (Min and Max Players, Lobby, End, Quit, Max Score.
Is there a command I should be using to save the config or is this something I should be manually doing by editing the config.yml?

Posted Aug 10, 2013This is a great plugin, I enjoy this very much along with my server members! they loved building the arenas and then they get to play in them now!
mini-game suggestions (i haven't thought if any of these would work currently)
Something similar to sky wars,
Tnt run style game,
or even something similar to trouble in terrorist town where some are innocent and some are 'traitors'.

Posted Aug 10, 2013I was trying to add an enchanted item into my loadouts, however with no success, I later read the wiki and it said that the command disallowes enchanted items but they can be added by using some other command with ME and SLOT.
However I don't understand that at all, could someone help me?

@ razz another thing i wanna know is with the restoring a certain player his inventory on bootup its saved to a file but i dont see much happening and it are always the same players

i added everything to my -l red loadout but the loadout chosen by the player still overrides
correct me if i am wrong but i got these signs for loadout:

Loadout
P90
etc etc etc. The Weapons are set for a game called arkadenffa and as globalloadouts.
I just want multiple loadouts and 1 infected loadout.

Posted Aug 8, 2013Is there a way to have zones where when the player enters they gain effects / items, and when they leave the zone it reverses? (kind of like beacons, but in a set area) It's just something I would find helpful when making game types such as King Of The Hill.

For example I am trying to add "-Game Ticket-" to the reward .. this is what it is:

to add to a specific loadout, you need to do -l red, you are only adding to the default loadout.

Race is set up in the same way any multiplayer game is, you just add a finish sign at the end and checkpoint signs if you need them.

I'm having a problem with once my server restarts and the minigame ends the players stay on the map instead of being kicked back to the lobby =/
