As most of you have already worked out, public support for this project has been non existent. Unfortunately with the workload of trying to manage and run a server network where minigames is only 1 out of what feels like 1000 projects we maintain... It gets hard trying to find time to help everyone.
But fear not this project is indeed not abandoned! We have moved the project to SpigotMC:

Minigames is a plugin in which users can create and play several types of Minigames on a server, without the risk of losing items or XP when they die. Players can also use checkpoints so when they die, they are reverted back to that position.
The Possible Minigame types are:
- Single Player - for jump puzzles, mazes etc.
- Last Man Standing - A multiplayer Free for All (FFA) PvP Minigame
- Race - A Multiplayer race Minigame
- Team Deathmatch - A deathmatch round against 2 teams, first to a defined score wins!
- Deathmatch - A free for all deathmatch round against any predefined amount of players, first to a defined score wins!
- Spleef - Its possible to create custom Spleef arenas, as well as your standard spleef arena.
- Treasure Hunt - A global treasure finding Minigame that is always running
- CTF - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame.
- Infection - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame where the infected players must kill all survivors.

Purpose:
Minigames was created for players to play games within a server and win prizes for completion, also to let players play PvP games without the risk of losing their hard earned items and XP. Minigames also reward players for completing each Minigame, or with PvP Minigames, the player can be rewarded with 'bets' that players make before they start the Minigame. These bets can be in Economy money or preset items.
These Minigames can be created in any style the player wishes, for example, parkour jump puzzles, mazes and treasure hunts. As well as PvP games like CTF, races and more. You are given a lot of options to add to each Minigame individually, so they are all completely customisable.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- And the amount of players playing games. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

Love your work <3 I'm unable to find it, and don't know if it Is a capability, but is there a way to change the infection rate ? (for starter zombies). My server is played by fewer people and 18% isn't high enough to make it fair (always one starter zombie/survivors ganging up on them). I'd like to be able to change the rate to 25% if there's a way to.

No and even though that is a great idea it would probably require _Razz_ to rewrite a lot of the plugin. Im guessing how it would work is that you would create a minigame and then create arenas and those arenas would then reference one or more minigames.
As well as that _Razz_ will probably have to move some parameters from being minigame specific to Arena specific e.g. max players, start points, etc and that would most definitely break existing minigames

If you use multiverse then check the world settings for that world, if it is a one world server then check in your server properties file

If you left click then it will tell you how many are in the game but make sure you hit it in survival or with a sword if you're in creative
You can create team specific loadouts, just call it red (which is the infected team) and blue (normal) and then add the effects you want to the red loadout

Posted Jul 16, 2013Is there a way to make info signs? Like above the join sign from deathmatch make an info sign on how many players joined, how many are in the lobby and if the game has started or if its waiting..
A question: is it possible to make it so that in my infected game, those who get infected, get the 2 effects of haste and the higher jump effects for an inf-amount of time.. well till the game is over ofcourse.

Hi Jacobml, you use a load out command to equip your players when they start a DM. Razz has made some awesome video tutorial videos for this, and on the bukkit tutorial pages there are command prompts for you. Here are the links I have collected that have helped me.

There is no option of using own inventory and Razz is adding them in future update he says.
@Honey_Monster2 Minigame inventory is totally separated to default inventory. Therefore, no, you cannot do that in this plugin at the moment.
@Remcove Type "/mgm set YOURGAMENAME scoretype kills".
@Incomprehendable For some reason, sometime the minigame setting cannot be saved via /stop command. Try editing the minigame files manually and type "/mgm reload" and your problem never happens anymore. The minigame signs are just signs. They will be not removed no matter what.
@AtexorCamil Yes, they need to be dead in "spleef" minigame. Just put lava under the stage.

Posted Jul 15, 2013Hi Razz, awesome plugin mate, am loving it. I have a spleef working well, as is a battle arena, still working on CTF. I have a maze that I have created a minigame for, and I want players to loot chests along the way, and keep the loot at the end of the game, how do I do that? As it seems that they never seem to keep it, they dont drop it, it just disappears.

Posted Jul 15, 2013Hi guys, I'm using craftbukkit 1.6.2 devbuild and I installed this plugin. I setup an TDM map and everything is working fine. exept for the fact that when I kill someone I won't receive any points. The match will last forever.. does anyone else have the same issue or know a fix? Or did I do something wrong.
