As most of you have already worked out, public support for this project has been non existent. Unfortunately with the workload of trying to manage and run a server network where minigames is only 1 out of what feels like 1000 projects we maintain... It gets hard trying to find time to help everyone.
But fear not this project is indeed not abandoned! We have moved the project to SpigotMC:

Please Note I have provided updated downloads for all versions back to 1.7 .. We are trying to get some idea of what versions people are running still and what we need to focus on...updating will help us target our product improvements.

Minigames is a plugin in which users can create and play several types of Minigames on a server, without the risk of losing items or XP when they die. Players can also use checkpoints so when they die, they are reverted back to that position.
The Possible Minigame types are:
- Single Player - for jump puzzles, mazes etc.
- Last Man Standing - A multiplayer Free for All (FFA) PvP Minigame
- Race - A Multiplayer race Minigame
- Team Deathmatch - A deathmatch round against 2 teams, first to a defined score wins!
- Deathmatch - A free for all deathmatch round against any predefined amount of players, first to a defined score wins!
- Spleef - Its possible to create custom Spleef arenas, as well as your standard spleef arena.
- Treasure Hunt - A global treasure finding Minigame that is always running
- CTF - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame.
- Infection - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame where the infected players must kill all survivors.

Purpose:
Minigames was created for players to play games within a server and win prizes for completion, also to let players play PvP games without the risk of losing their hard earned items and XP. Minigames also reward players for completing each Minigame, or with PvP Minigames, the player can be rewarded with 'bets' that players make before they start the Minigame. These bets can be in Economy money or preset items.
These Minigames can be created in any style the player wishes, for example, parkour jump puzzles, mazes and treasure hunts. As well as PvP games like CTF, races and more. You are given a lot of options to add to each Minigame individually, so they are all completely customisable.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- And the amount of players playing games. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

Indeed it is. I'll be doing a tutorial for it in the coming days, though if you follow the new tutorial I made on the wiki, its quite easy to do from that. Anvildrop is pretty much like spleef, just a floor degenerator set to random with anvils and gravel. Race is set up like every other Minigame, it can use checkpoint signs and needs a Finish sign for the winning player. Treasure hunt is global, it doesn't need to be joined, it just runs on a timer.

That'd be a bukkit problem. I don't think its something I can fix. Though I think I might come on and check out that adventure map!

I have no problems. All Minigames play fine and never get deleted. Are you getting any errors at all?

i found a small buggy in the regenarea generator, it regens torches, but it doesnt regen the light level so if somebodyplaces a torch and it gets regend it will remove the torch but the light level will stay 14.I dont know if it is possible to fix this?
i finally made the Kingdom of the Sky adventuremap made by blamethecontroller compatible with minigames 1.5.2! :D and now because all this cool stuff is possible thanks to your plugin i was wondering if you want to have the map + texturepack for 1.6.2 + minigames config.

Posted Jul 7, 2013Is the 1.5 already out for your plugin, becasue the infection deal looks fun(how would you do it?), also the anvil drop, is that a specific minigame or is it just a modified spleef? plus how would oyu go about doing race and treasure hunt? Sorry for the questions, im just trying to get things figured out before I get this as i am still setting up other things on my server and trying to fix issues before I release it.

Basically follow the TeamDM tutorial on the Tutorials page and set the score type to infection. A proper tutorial will come soon.

Yes it can be done. Type "/mg set <MInigame> loadout" for a list of commands for loadouts. I've forgotten the one for permissions at the moment, but it should be in that info.
The permission is then "minigame.loadout.<loadoutname>" all in lower case.

Ah, well a 1.6 compatible build will be released over the coming week (hopefully). That should fix the issue (assuming you're running 1.6)

No, it doesn't. This just gives you the tools to create a minigame using your own design. As for my ones, most are just built directly into the terrain, copying them would look silly.

wow im an idiot, of course it wouldn't, or does it? Since it probably doesn't can you perhaps load up the buildings and stadiums you have for the ones in the videos and the stadiums for the other games you have?
