As most of you have already worked out, public support for this project has been non existent. Unfortunately with the workload of trying to manage and run a server network where minigames is only 1 out of what feels like 1000 projects we maintain... It gets hard trying to find time to help everyone.
But fear not this project is indeed not abandoned! We have moved the project to SpigotMC:

Please Note I have provided updated downloads for all versions back to 1.7 .. We are trying to get some idea of what versions people are running still and what we need to focus on...updating will help us target our product improvements.

Minigames is a plugin in which users can create and play several types of Minigames on a server, without the risk of losing items or XP when they die. Players can also use checkpoints so when they die, they are reverted back to that position.
The Possible Minigame types are:
- Single Player - for jump puzzles, mazes etc.
- Last Man Standing - A multiplayer Free for All (FFA) PvP Minigame
- Race - A Multiplayer race Minigame
- Team Deathmatch - A deathmatch round against 2 teams, first to a defined score wins!
- Deathmatch - A free for all deathmatch round against any predefined amount of players, first to a defined score wins!
- Spleef - Its possible to create custom Spleef arenas, as well as your standard spleef arena.
- Treasure Hunt - A global treasure finding Minigame that is always running
- CTF - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame.
- Infection - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame where the infected players must kill all survivors.

Purpose:
Minigames was created for players to play games within a server and win prizes for completion, also to let players play PvP games without the risk of losing their hard earned items and XP. Minigames also reward players for completing each Minigame, or with PvP Minigames, the player can be rewarded with 'bets' that players make before they start the Minigame. These bets can be in Economy money or preset items.
These Minigames can be created in any style the player wishes, for example, parkour jump puzzles, mazes and treasure hunts. As well as PvP games like CTF, races and more. You are given a lot of options to add to each Minigame individually, so they are all completely customisable.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- And the amount of players playing games. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

I have worldedit And worldguard however i don't use signshop, will this effect it much? i can't remember which plugin allows me my economy but you set up the signs as [buy] amount item price (sorry that was probably unnecessary but wanted to make sure you knew somewhat of what i meant..)

Posted Jun 8, 2013@ Razz the plugin fucks up all sticky pistons that have been used it should restore piston base piston arm stone but it regens piston base stone stone so im setting all sticky pistons from kingdom of the sky (big adventure map) as restoreblocks. thats why i need them and i really cant ditch the sticky pistons cuz they form all kinds of doors and redstone circuits.
PS the restoreblocks on levers only work when a lever is directly attached on a redstone line otherwise if its on a block with redstone behind it will keep the signal on resulting in a shortcut in the minigame.
PS2 i dont now how you regenerate the arenas but maybe you can use world edit or save the arena as schematic and load it in afterwards im going to try to do it with schematics cuz we are talking about 28.5 million blocks and more

TNT is limited, theres no way to get when a TNT block is ignited, which is what I need for regen areas to work with them. Therefore massive amounts of TNT in Minigames is near impossible.

Posted Jun 7, 2013Is there anyway to make a Type of block a "restore block" ? I have a large area filled with step-activated tnt and I'm able to save one falling tnt/gravel/pressure plate as separate "restore blocks", but I have a few layered platforms of this and would like to be able to select them all to restore them...the regen area command doesn't seem to include my tnt contraption :/

Posted Jun 7, 2013Severe bug, a handful of commands don't work... certain presets return errors do the preset ctf it says it doesn't exist do the preset spleef it works fine same goes for starting positions, those seem to be broken do the start clear.

Posted Jun 6, 2013@ razz thnx for the fast respond! the restoreblocks work very well even for the levers! the only bug i get is that in the map alot of sticky piston doors are used. When regenerating the arena all used sticky piston doors will bug and will set 2 stone block and a piston base ( instead of 1 stone block, 1 arm and 1 piston base) is there a way to fix this? its kind of the last bug i have before i can implent the adventure map.
Edit: fixed it temporarily by adding the base and the arm as restoreblock, what also happens is that if a lever is against a block it gets restored but the redstone signals doesnt reset. i can fix this by ripping off all levers from the walls and put them on the floor.

Posted Jun 5, 2013I have version 1.4.7 of the game and the version of bukkit meant for the game version 1.4.7. I also have 1.4.2 of this plugin meant for version 1.4.7. It tells me invalid gametype for teamdm, but all other gametypes work, any fix for this? please help i love this plugin!

The only reason you should need restore blocks would be for Dispensers, droppers or hoppers, and no, there shouldn't be a limit.

You can enable permissions per loadout. I believe the command is:
/mg set <Minigame> loadout usepermissions <loadoutName>

Actually... Minigames 1.4.2 is for Minecraft 1.4.7... Also, I don't support older versions of the plugin. I update to latest versions only. So if somethings not working for you on an older MC version, you may just have to wait until you can update.

Posted Jun 4, 2013just a thought .. can you make it so we can set the minigames so that when a person spawns in they can not be attacked for a configurable amount of time .. to stop spawn camping
