As most of you have already worked out, public support for this project has been non existent. Unfortunately with the workload of trying to manage and run a server network where minigames is only 1 out of what feels like 1000 projects we maintain... It gets hard trying to find time to help everyone.
But fear not this project is indeed not abandoned! We have moved the project to SpigotMC:

Minigames is a plugin in which users can create and play several types of Minigames on a server, without the risk of losing items or XP when they die. Players can also use checkpoints so when they die, they are reverted back to that position.
The Possible Minigame types are:
- Single Player - for jump puzzles, mazes etc.
- Last Man Standing - A multiplayer Free for All (FFA) PvP Minigame
- Race - A Multiplayer race Minigame
- Team Deathmatch - A deathmatch round against 2 teams, first to a defined score wins!
- Deathmatch - A free for all deathmatch round against any predefined amount of players, first to a defined score wins!
- Spleef - Its possible to create custom Spleef arenas, as well as your standard spleef arena.
- Treasure Hunt - A global treasure finding Minigame that is always running
- CTF - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame.
- Infection - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame where the infected players must kill all survivors.

Purpose:
Minigames was created for players to play games within a server and win prizes for completion, also to let players play PvP games without the risk of losing their hard earned items and XP. Minigames also reward players for completing each Minigame, or with PvP Minigames, the player can be rewarded with 'bets' that players make before they start the Minigame. These bets can be in Economy money or preset items.
These Minigames can be created in any style the player wishes, for example, parkour jump puzzles, mazes and treasure hunts. As well as PvP games like CTF, races and more. You are given a lot of options to add to each Minigame individually, so they are all completely customisable.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- And the amount of players playing games. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

Posted May 18, 2013I have a big problem, I'm using Authme and when a player is playing a minigame and disconnect, when he logs in again and uses a /warp command he obtains class inventory on normal world (Out of minigame area)
Warp command is on disabledcommands section of your config. Warp doesn't work if you are on lobby or you're playing, but when player disconnect and reconnect it works.

Reloading the whole server re-saves the Minigames and overwrites any manual changes you've made. You have to do a "/mgm reload" if you want to use overwritten configs or stop the server and edit them that way. Also, the configs don't update with every change so the clear command should have worked.

Uhh I'd rather not, probably better to just fix the bug, if it is even a bug (or a cause of the change that doesn't need fixing). Anyways once you fix it once you shouldn't have to fix it again, it only happened to a couple of my Minigames and once fixed it hasn't happened again.

They only show in Multiplayer Minigames. I dont use factions so I can't answer that question sorry.

I don't support bukkit dev builds. They update too constantly to bug fix, they are dev builds for a reason. I know it works fine in the beta build though.

Posted May 18, 2013sorry for the dubbelpost but also i cant clear any arena-bound loadout and i cannot delete them ... i do it with the "/mgm set carrierTDM loadout clear default" and also tryd it out with "/mgm set carrierTDM loadout clear" and delete isnt working either than i deletet the items via the config uploadet my config file reloaded the WHOLE server and the config file just stayed the old one ...

I've noticed this myself, seems the items are duping for some reason. Just clear the loadout and reset it. I think I changed how loadouts are loaded and stored before release, redoing them seems to fix it.

Not getting this error. But, there is no space in "mini game" anywhere in my plugin, so I assume something else is interfering?

Posted May 17, 2013hey guy I have a problem, when users enter the minigames and disconnect (in the game) or the Lobby, lose their inventories .. this in a previous version had a Backup plugin inventory is a configuration or may be a plugin error?

The Only minigames it does work on is the single player ones. I lose my inventory on the Mulitplayer ones. I tried out the sign thing and that didnt fix it. Also players can access the minigame join and create Commands even when its not in my permissions.

sadly no :(, working on it on my test server to be sure its not a conflict with mutliverse-Inventory. But to date, i juts cant find what causing it. :( ... so i just removed the plugin :(

They joined via the sign as there is no other way to join (on my server). also, the world in which minigames are in is shared (inventory and xp) with the normal worlds (to avoid this conflict). still, i got random inventory whipe :(.
But as i said, they don't loose their item after the game, they lose items on the next teleportation after the minigames Tp'd them to the End/lose lobby. Which i think is odd...

Simple fix, Don't let players use /minigame join
I've said this a lot, I built Minigames around the use of the signs, not the commands. If players join from a different world with a different inventory, it keeps the inventory from the world they joined in, so if the quit position is in a different world, they have the wrong inventory AND gamemode for that world.

Well any new version of Minigames won't work on 1.4.7, and the 1.4.7 version of Minigames is VERY buggy. Minigames doesn't really need any other plugin though, its all inclusive, unless you want extras such as Money rewards or SQL database saving. The description has the links for those things.

Check your console for errors. You may have a corrupt config in one of the Minigames.

First of all I want to say how amazing this plugin is, yet there is one downfall. On my server I have it set up where the minigames are in a different world then everything else. I have Multiverse Inventories so the inventories dont transpher over. When the players join a minigame and return to the regular world after and their entire inventory is whiped out. I dont know if this is a bug or in the settings but please help me fix it.
I also read other help articles who had the same problem. -TristonSmith24
