As most of you have already worked out, public support for this project has been non existent. Unfortunately with the workload of trying to manage and run a server network where minigames is only 1 out of what feels like 1000 projects we maintain... It gets hard trying to find time to help everyone.
But fear not this project is indeed not abandoned! We have moved the project to SpigotMC:

Minigames is a plugin in which users can create and play several types of Minigames on a server, without the risk of losing items or XP when they die. Players can also use checkpoints so when they die, they are reverted back to that position.
The Possible Minigame types are:
- Single Player - for jump puzzles, mazes etc.
- Last Man Standing - A multiplayer Free for All (FFA) PvP Minigame
- Race - A Multiplayer race Minigame
- Team Deathmatch - A deathmatch round against 2 teams, first to a defined score wins!
- Deathmatch - A free for all deathmatch round against any predefined amount of players, first to a defined score wins!
- Spleef - Its possible to create custom Spleef arenas, as well as your standard spleef arena.
- Treasure Hunt - A global treasure finding Minigame that is always running
- CTF - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame.
- Infection - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame where the infected players must kill all survivors.

Purpose:
Minigames was created for players to play games within a server and win prizes for completion, also to let players play PvP games without the risk of losing their hard earned items and XP. Minigames also reward players for completing each Minigame, or with PvP Minigames, the player can be rewarded with 'bets' that players make before they start the Minigame. These bets can be in Economy money or preset items.
These Minigames can be created in any style the player wishes, for example, parkour jump puzzles, mazes and treasure hunts. As well as PvP games like CTF, races and more. You are given a lot of options to add to each Minigame individually, so they are all completely customisable.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- And the amount of players playing games. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

Thanks! Is there any noticeable breaking or data loss? (Players not getting items back etc.) If not, shouldn't be too bad for the moment.

Data lost in a server crash is unavoidable. Servers shouldn't crash for no reason. Also telling me that Minigames is causing the server to crash is not very helpful. You're not providing any logs or errors to help me fix this issue...

Yes you can do that, Minigames doesn't care how you set up your floor, you could make it a slope or a wave, pretty much any shape. The only part that does care is the degenerator, it must be in the shape of a square and fill the entire area to work correctly. (But you don't need the degenerator, thats just to stop any sort of islanding.)

I plan to go through each feature in detail. I'm trying to make it so the game types have multiple uses instead of just one. Thats the reason why I removed the spleef game type a while ago and made it so you could just set up LMS to do the same thing.
So yes, I will hopefully be able to go through all the big features in full detail, so people can understand the uses of them.

I will delete my Minigames folder and start fresh then. Also is it not possible to set up a spleef arena with multiple floors? Like 3layers of snowblocks, so it's more fun.

Technically I didn't say it was their fault either, I just said it was a place to start.
The only way the world could be null is if you left a Minigame in a world you deleted, the world changed its name or somethings messed up in the config for a specific Minigame. Its impossible for you to set a players location not in a world, the only way it could happen is if you changed something.

Posted Apr 2, 2013Hi, so i set up a paintball arena, and whenever somebody gets killed, they spawn back to their home location, without ending the game. How do i make this so they spawn at the end, where i set it?

Looks like NoCheat/Multiverse/PlotMe/etc could be the problem too.
I'd check Multiverse first though, thats the only one throwing an error in reference to itself.

Alternatively you could use the signs. I never intended for general use of the join command, thats why its an admin only command.

Posted Apr 1, 2013The 1.4.3 dev version for MC 1.5.1 does not work. It gives lots and lots of player teleport event errors and conflicts with other plugins. I can't show you the logs because I deleted them. But I think it should be worked on.
