As most of you have already worked out, public support for this project has been non existent. Unfortunately with the workload of trying to manage and run a server network where minigames is only 1 out of what feels like 1000 projects we maintain... It gets hard trying to find time to help everyone.
But fear not this project is indeed not abandoned! We have moved the project to SpigotMC:

Please Note I have provided updated downloads for all versions back to 1.7 .. We are trying to get some idea of what versions people are running still and what we need to focus on...updating will help us target our product improvements.

Minigames is a plugin in which users can create and play several types of Minigames on a server, without the risk of losing items or XP when they die. Players can also use checkpoints so when they die, they are reverted back to that position.
The Possible Minigame types are:
- Single Player - for jump puzzles, mazes etc.
- Last Man Standing - A multiplayer Free for All (FFA) PvP Minigame
- Race - A Multiplayer race Minigame
- Team Deathmatch - A deathmatch round against 2 teams, first to a defined score wins!
- Deathmatch - A free for all deathmatch round against any predefined amount of players, first to a defined score wins!
- Spleef - Its possible to create custom Spleef arenas, as well as your standard spleef arena.
- Treasure Hunt - A global treasure finding Minigame that is always running
- CTF - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame.
- Infection - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame where the infected players must kill all survivors.

Purpose:
Minigames was created for players to play games within a server and win prizes for completion, also to let players play PvP games without the risk of losing their hard earned items and XP. Minigames also reward players for completing each Minigame, or with PvP Minigames, the player can be rewarded with 'bets' that players make before they start the Minigame. These bets can be in Economy money or preset items.
These Minigames can be created in any style the player wishes, for example, parkour jump puzzles, mazes and treasure hunts. As well as PvP games like CTF, races and more. You are given a lot of options to add to each Minigame individually, so they are all completely customisable.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- And the amount of players playing games. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

No; it doesn't clear an inventory. It stores it. I was asking to require players to clear their inventories beforehand. Due to how the Multiple Worlds on my server is configured; it at times messes up and a player loses his items. My apologies about sounding rude here.

Haha 500, I shall have to add an auto limiter to 28. Its not the amount of items total, its the amount of different stacks of items. If you only had 10 different item stacks, the treasure would only give those 10 stacks, even if you set it to 28.
As for the the problem, ticket it!

Check the Minigames config, find the loadouts section and check the item quantities, let me know if they say 0. (Theres already a report of that bug)

Posted Mar 31, 2013edit - I fixed the empty chests thing, it was the maxtreasure value of 500 causing it. Changed it to 28 and it works fine.
New problem - When someone finds the chest, it doesn't restart the game. It keeps giving hints as if the chests ha dnot found and then it restarts once the time limit of 20 minutes I set, has gone by. Shouldn't it stop and restart once someone has found the chest?

using 1.4.2 doing a Treasure Chest hunt game since it is easter, it my first time making it and well the chests being placed are empty. When typing /mgm info EasterChestHunt here's the what comes up and only 1 page of it, no other pages available:Game type: thStarting Location: -1447x, 64y, 507zLocation Name: ForestMaximum Radius: 140Minimum Treasure: 4Maximum Treasure: 500Default Loadout: 28 itemsWould the maximum treasure value of 500 be the problem? Most of the 28 items are stacks of 64 so that's why I did 500 in case 10 items are given, they get 500 items instead of just6 10 items. Or did I do that wrong?Thanks!

Posted Mar 31, 2013Running 1.4.3 since this morning too.. a bug in TDM.. load-outs are very much broken. Swords disappear after 1 hit. Cant drink potions, armor messes up and gives you random armor then disappears.

Posted Mar 30, 2013On parkour maps or races, would it be possible to get a text reward?.. Like an announcement on the server to tell everyone you completed the parkour (or whatever the minigame is)

Posted Mar 30, 2013I set up a race but am not joining.
/minigame create <name> (at start point)
/minigame set <name> type race
/minigame set <name> end (at end point)
/minigame set<name> quit (where I have a sign to join)
/minigame set <name> lobby (in a lobby area)
I click my serversign to join and get green message "Starting <name>" but are not teleported to lobby. If I go to lobby, start or finish it doesn't do anything. If I join manually using /minigame join <name> it does the same, tried from two separate accounts, checked minimum players is two and tried with two, nothing. I checked my parkour minigame and that still works fine
What else do I need to set for the race to work? if nothing what could be wrong?

Reward is for first completion of the Minigame, secondary is for every completion after, so I assume you haven't set the secondary reward?

Posted Mar 29, 2013I have been having trouble with the rewards. I have Vault, and i did the command to set $10 as a PVParena (lms) reward. It said that $10 was set. After the Minigame, no one gets a reward. So i tried setting it as an item, and still no reward. I look in the Minigame configs for the arena, and i dont see any lines for rewards.
I checked the console, and no errors were posted.
