Mini Events

MiniEvents consists of 10 events that an administrator can start at any time by doing /event. Players simply do /join to join the event. Currently, the events are: LLast Man Standing, Spleef, Knock Out, TDM, Horse Race, TNT Run, Paint Ball, KOTH, Parkour, and One in the Chamber.

How to Use MiniEvents
A user does the command /event (type) and that event will start. Players will do /join to join the event. And... that's it! After you have set up the arena and have done the appropriate 1-2 commands to set up the event, you will not have to do any more commands. You can simply do /event and let the players play!
Players will need to do /join to join the event and then they just have to wait until the game starts.

Posted Dec 23, 2013What exactly is the command and permission node to drop out of an event? My co-owner says there is a command to quit early, but I dont' see it anywhere and certainly no permission node for it, and my players get a "no permissions" when trying to use /event quit.

Yeah the TNT thing is a known bug but ive never heard the koth bug before. I'll look into it.

Posted Dec 22, 2013Hey, really very good plugin! I have 2 problems: I set up KOTH 500% with 2-3 player all work good, but if join 10+ players the percenatge finish in like 2-5 seconds whats the problem? And another problem tnt not regenerates. The other events work pretty good. Very good job!

Would it be possible for you to add a hook to your plugin so that MyPet would be able to hook into it for compatibility like other MiniGame plugins?

I requested that MyPet become compatible with your plugin so that the Pets would be auto dismissed when entering your games, but no hook was found to do so. We'd greatly appreciate it if you could do this for us, and I know Keyle would be more than willing to work with you on this to make the two plugins compatible. :3

The individual rewards are done. The XP reset is a bug with KOTH (which I have fixed). You will be able to start events from the console in the next update.

Posted Dec 20, 2013Would it be possible to allow the console to run the /event commands?
I'd like to set up these commands on a timer to have the events run every so often based on the server's settings to start them? We attempted to get them to run from console but we were unable to get them to..
We've also noticed that player XP is reset upon game completion as well. :\

Yes, sorry I mean below. I've tested it again 5 times, same fail :(
All events are working perfectly, only the tnt doesn't regenerate the map. The console has no errors.

I'm sure it should, but only the spleef regenerates itself, the tnt area doesn't. Don't know why, I've done a 30x30 flat and 30 blocks above is water. If I start the event the first time, all is good, but the next try, the tnt isn't regenerated :(

Posted Dec 17, 2013Announcement: I have began work on V-1.4. This update will be the "technical update." In the last update, I added a LOT of new events. In this update, I will add a few (probably 3) events, but from the technical POV, this plugin is going to be totally different.
The code is already much more efficient, I will be a statistic system, a scoreboard system, better ways to give prizes, spectator mode, death announcements, removal of Vault (no more dependencies!), and just a much more professional plugin.
As for the events, I will be adding horse race, TDM, and bow spleef.
Update will also include some bug fixes.
