I think it's a lot simpler to have different plugins then to have a huge config. I can get confusing. Also, if there is an issue with one plugin, it wont affect the reset of the plugins. That was my logic behind it.

Do you have MineEconomy v1.0.1 or higher? If not, you need that for it to work. Other economy plugins do not work
