Basic Description
What is MinecartRevolution? It's a modern Minecart-Plugin for Bukkit which features simple functions for beginners and professional ones like an own english-like natural scripting language (RevoScript).
You can use it simple with control signs and control blocks, define the expression scripts and create new controls in configuration files. You can also write plugins for more complicated controls and new RevoScript elements.

- Create Announcements, Farming, Stations, Holds, Intersections, Sensors, Chest-Transfers, Collectors, Effects & more with high-customizable control signs!
- You can customize your plans even more with a whole human-like expression language!
- Everybody can write auto-updating plugins for MinecartRevolution which can modify most of the properties and add new expressions & controls. Such plugins are written in Java!
Notes
- MinecartRevolution requires QuarterBukkit-Plugin which is automatically downloaded by MinecartRevolution after the user agreed to the download (restart of the server, see the QuarterBukkit page).
- MinecartRevolution and all MinecartRevolution plugins feature auto updating (disabled by default) and new version availability notification (enabled by default). You can enabled or disable both behaviors in the main config file under "plugins/MinecartRevolution/config.yml".
- MinecartRevolution features metrics integration. Metrics collects your server settings (like auth mode) and system properties (like architecture), as well as game stats (like the amount of online players). You can disable that by setting "opt-out" to "true" in the metrics config file under "plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml".

Posted Jul 6, 2012Is this still being actively developed? The patchregion command doesn't seem to work, and there is a rail duping bug associated with placing rails and them popping back up and not being removed from from the players inventory.

Posted Jun 27, 2012Hi Sorry about my terrible engish. I hope im right in this forum. We use your plugin on our server and i had some problems with it. At first the clean road funktion dos not work everty time. So user crash very often with entities in small cave roads. Next the sensor block sign is buggy. It does not work always a cart is corss it. Also sometimes the lever does not reset after crossing a cart. Can u add a function how allowed to set by config "kill" entities ?

Posted Jun 16, 2012The Wiki is down...anyone have a list of permissions for this plugin? I have figured out most of the block functions but I need permissions for signs obviously since my members can't place station signs. Please Help!
P.S. Is this a dead plugin? Why do none of the links work for the website?

Posted Jun 4, 2012Doesn't seem to be anyone updating the ticket section... so...
Minecarts vanish after riding them.
Create a loop of track with an unpowered power rail placed at an angle. Ride a cart around the track until it stops on the power rail. Get out of the cart and wait... the cart will eventually vanish.
This will not happen when removeMinecartWhenDerailedTime is set 0
I am using version 1.1.0 of Minecart Revolution

Posted May 31, 2012Is there any way to raise the maximum speed of minecarts? I remember being able to raise the max speed of minecarts by changing the config file in the old Minecart Mania mod.
It's my understanding that the max speed sign only designates how fast the minecart can go given the max speed, but I would like to raise the max speed.

At Speed 160 a mine-cart handle one block/rail/track segment per tick. So speeds over 160 causes a mine-cart to skip/miss blocks between motion ticks.
Straight rail ⇒ Max Speed 400 (over that may cause failure to load/render forward chunks fast enough and bounce the cart back. May become more critical on loaded servers). Turn rail ⇒ Max Speed 160 Sloped rail ⇒ Max Speed 120
Speeds over these maximum will cause derailment on turns, stuck mine-cart (passing through the rail and hitting the block in front) on up-slope, jumping of the track or hitting the block under the track on a down-slope.
