I was looking for a simple mod that could deposit a Chest Minecart's contents into a Chest block without any commands for setup or usage. Some other plugins had this functionality, but it also provided a bunch of other unvanilla-like functionality that I didn't like. When I found MinecartDelivery, I sadly discovered that the author hadn't updated in a long time, and it didn't seem that he would. I then updated his mod, and added additional functions to it, such as recovering a chest's contents into a minecart. I'll later add support for furnaces, dispensers, and the likes.
Features
- Drop off points are created by simply putting a detector rail and a chest along your existing minecart system.
- Support for Double Chests
- Minecart Item Recovery from Chests
Media
Simply put a chest embedded beside the detector rail. There is support for multiple chests as well as double chests if needed. Applying power underneath the dropoff point will turn it into a recovery point. I can be toggled for redstone functionality.

Bugs
- When a minecart travels from north to south or south to north, the container must be on the left relative to it's forward direction. I couldn't figure it out for the life of me. :(

Since this project is always changing, I will be categorizing my builds into two groups: Stable and DEV. Most fraction builds (x.x1 - x.x9) are considered DEV builds, but some may be bug fixes or may be stable enough to be considered ready for releasing. I've done my best to get most of them out of the DEV builds, but I may have missed a few. Both types of builds are hosted on GitHub, simply because it takes a while for files to be approved here and it's much faster.

Posted Dec 2, 2012Hey! Great plugin, very useful for mining operations in distant places, especially when combined with some of the other Minecart plugins.
The one problem I have is that, every time a Minecart of any kind passes over one of the detector rails, the server adds a bunch of numbers to the log; listed under info, I usually get 3-4 strings. While not a huge issue in itself, it is a bit annoying, and tends to drown out other INFO messages and the like when there's a lot of minecart activity.
If that's possible to remove, that'd be great, otherwise it's still awesome.

Posted Jul 11, 2012I know that, Flenix1, but maybe if there was some way to claim a storage cart as your own and it could only access chests/furnaces/dispensers that were also yours? I dont know if this is possible to program into the plugin due to restrictions in the Bukkit API, but it seems like a great solution that would leave everyone happy.

If he did that, then people could take items out of any locked chest - there would be no way to check who sent the minecart.
Likewise people could fill your locked chests with dirt and things like that.

Posted Jun 27, 2012Hey there! Does this plugin support LWC? The original MinecartDelivery didn't appear to. If it doesn't, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make it somehow so that items can be delivered to locked chests. That is the ONE AND ONLY additional feature I need in this plugin to make it EPIC for my server! And by the way, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR UPDATING THE OLD PLUGIN! YES@!
