Potion Effects

Potion Effects in Milkmaid

Applying potion effects to a player when drinking milk was added in Milkmaid 1.2 (Organic). You can choose to disable the standard cure poison that milk offers, enable only cure poison, or have a random effect chosen from a list that you define.

Example Usage

In the default configuration file, there are two lines:
MilkActsLikePotion: true
MilkPotionEffects: 0

If you change MilkActsLikePotion to false, then potion effects including cure poison are disabled. If you keep MilkActsLikePotion as true and keep MilkPotionEffects as 0, then drinking milk will cure poison as normal.

You can specify a single potion effect or you can write a list using commas to separate effect numbers, from which one effect will be applied to the player. For example:
MilkActsLikePotion: true
MilkPotionEffects: 1,2,10

1,2,10 would apply at random; blindness, confusion, or invisibility to the player drinking the milk, for a short period of time.

To make milk act like alcohol, you could use:
MilkPotionEffects: 0,0,0,0,2

Perhaps you want to make milk most commonly cure poison, but once in a while someone drinks sour milk and gets poisoned; use:
MilkPotionEffects: 0,0,0,0,13
