This plugin is a revival of the plugin at this thread.Originally created by Protected.

I thank him for originally creating it but am angered by his complete removal of the plugin without leaving any notification for its fans.

The original plugin allowed you to play midis in Minecraft without a client mod using noteblocks and correctly formatted signs.

The format of the signs is like this.

first line: blank
second line: [midi]
third line: filename, must be short enough to fit on the line without the .mid extension.
fourth line:Special perimeters, Such as start on chunk load and looping "A,L, and a few more I need to search for in the code."

My hopeful to-do list:

maybe create a client version.
~~get more of the commands working~~ - Just removed the non working ones
~~somehow figure out how to add permissions~~
~~maybe change the command to prevent conflicts~~ command is now midibanks
clean up the messy code
~~check the configuration file~~ - included inside of jar also saved upon plugin load.

this contains both the regular version and the bukkitforge version.

if you are having trouble with getting the midis to play open them with an external program such as Anvil Studio

the midis go in the same folder as the config file.

The only bug I have experienced with this plugin is that songs don't play if the noteblocks aren't facing North/South. They don't work if they face East/West.

This crash keeps happening with plugin version 2.4. At the time a midi had been playing for a minute and I hadn't clicked anything since it started.

i am looking into that problem now. 2.4 should fix the problem once its approved since it seems to be taking the approval process a while here is a direct download to the newest version

I am absolutely thrilled to see this latest version working. Banks only work when facing one direction, but that isn't a big deal. It would be great if autoplay/looping worked though. I would gladly donate to anyone who can fix this.

Yes, it works, but it sometimes stops working and takes a server reboot to re-enable.

Also, who in 2013 still uses imageshack? Seriously? Do you blog with Livejournal and update your GeoCities, too? lolol

I can confirm this works for 1.5.2, you guys are either not doing it correctly or using invalid midis.

Currently listening to black hole sun through noteblocks, works awesome.

Noo :( jfmherokiller please come back!

I decided to come back after giving minecraft a break (3 months I think) to found out that this plugin is now dead :"( This is my FAVOURITE plugin out of all the plugins I have installed.

Oh well I guess I can stay in 1.47 minecraft

Anyone figure out a work-around? I had this working in 1.5.1, with the latest CBbuild, but then it suddenly stopped working. The plugin is working part way, because the signs change to say playing. I have the noteblocks set up correctly, etc, but it just doesn't make sound. Sad to see this become inactive because this is the last plugin of it's type that doesn't require spout or anything.

Most likely it does. Never go by what the version says, if it says 1.4.7, it could very well still work for 1.5 or later versions of bukkit. If they update sounds again though, it could outdate this plugin.

Iam there with DaramisThompson, i like this plugin because you can easily add Flair to some Places with a Decent music. :(
