Message Blocker

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

So what does it do?

Have you ever installed an annoying plugin that displays chat messages that you don't want to be shown? I sure have! That is why I have developed Message Blocker! This is a simplistic plugin that allows you to add any message to a config file, and if the message you specify is sent to the client, it won't be shown! It's as easy as that! But if you want a special group or ops to see the messages, you can do that too!

Installation

You can install this as you would any other bukkit plugin.

  • Drag JAR file into you /plugins folder
  • Restart/Reload you server

Permissions

There is only one permission node for this plugin.

  • messageblocker.see - Allows you to see messages that are supposed to be hidden

Errors, Bugs, and Feature Requests

If you find errors or bugs please open a ticket and give detailed information about craftbukkit version, and plugin version. If possible also Error Log Snippets.

Requires Protocol Lib

If this is not installed, expect errors!
