MegaCreeps
A mighty tool that allows to create, modify and replace monsters/bosses with custom attributes, such as:
- Special abilities,
- Maximum hitpoints,
- Potion effects,
- Itemsets,
- Drops,
- Experience drops,
- Mounts
- Attack damage
- Custom strength rating to replace natural spawns
Extended description:
- Supports multiple worlds with own configuration sections for each.
- The item names and lores allow to drop so-called epic-gear and can use unsafe enchantments.
- You can create and edit setups out of the game or edit them in their own .txt files. Creating setups out of the game, you need to have a setup book in the inventory. "/mc" tells you how it has to be set up. Your potioneffects will also apply to the setup with almost infinite duration. If you wish shorter potioneffects to take place, you will have to modify the duration in the .txt file.
- You can replace normally spawning mobs with MegaCreeps. This is further supported, giving you the ability to modify the relation between stronger rated and weaker rated mobs. You can do the rating yourself.
- The plugin comes with a number of basic setups that will always be present. You are free to edit them or take them out of usage by deleteing them from the config.
- The bounty can be modified. You can drop virtually everything. Please note: Not all deathcauses make the MegaCreeps drop their items. Mob traps with such things as lava or pistons fail to get the mob's drops.
- Special abilites can be used. You can look up the currently active abilities for a list.
- There is an API for modders that want to customize the usage.

I mean, making enchants of a higher level. For example a sword with Sharpness VII. As for the names of drop, i think it would be a nice addition. Imagine you get a weapon named after the boss you just defeated.
Also, drop rates of each item. So you don't always get them from every mob. And the quantity could also be a randomized value from 2 numbers. And if there is only one number in txt, it will just use that number.
And would it be really neccesary to change txt file? It's not possible to just add another option to the line? So that if someone doesn't have it, it would just be skipped by the plugin. Also is it possible to add more than one enchantment?
Like this: item=<ItemTypeID>:<subid>;<amountmax-amountmin>;<[enchantmentid-level;]>;<[drop rate 0-100]>;<[item name]>

I fear this cannot be done programming for the Bukkit API. AI modifications are done at an implemented level, meaning I would have to use Craftbukkit or Spigot, loosing the compatibility to Bukkit.

Is it possible to add if mobs are hostile or not? This would be great for my server if it can be done. I want zombies to be neutral until attacked then turn hostile.

First of all, a quote from the config and permissions part:
Simple enough, huh? ;)
As you talk about enchants that are not normally achieveable: This must be part of some kind of other plugin I would probably have to hook. I don't know which plugins do that and how they interact with the items, so this might be a little more complex. Please tell me, what exactly you mean.
Saving the description of items would be easy, but this would need to restructure the .TXT files and people hate to delete their old files or change their files to some new form.

Posted Jul 28, 2013Could you add drop rate and spawn rate in percents?
Also, would be really awesome if you could not only set enchants that are not normally achievable but also a name to weapon/armor that a mob drops.

Posted Jul 25, 2013Hey Maggo :)
Thanks for joining our server earlier this day. Maybe you could add us to the "Some servers that use this mod" List? It would be a nice commercial as well :D
Thx for your very personal support :)

I was on your server at around 4 PM and asked people to leave you a note. They obviously didn't do so. You use another plugin that also uses displays of entity names above the head. Thus the display is turned on, even though my plugin didn't do that. Setting the names is pretty important for loading Megacreeps after a chunk is reloaded or the server is restarted. Full implementation for this comes with the next version. What I can do to help you out: I can put these hearts above mobs heads (optionally), but the mobs would have to keep their names.

I cannot find an error at this issue. You may have seen an "old" Megacreep, which still uses the name. New ones don't. This can be fixed, though.

Posted Jun 30, 2013The metadata for items is not being saved. I doubt that the use of this would justify a more complicated buildup of the TXT files.

Posted Jun 22, 2013@DeMaggo Cool! A suggestion for an ability in case you haven't already thought of it would be to spawn more mobs. Like on a certain amount of ticks or on attack or damage the monster will summon another mob such as a skeleton or even another megacreep mob.

Takes 5 minutes to implement and 10 minutes to update the documentation. Is in now. Next update is coming up soon, I'm implementing some more abilities at the moment.

Posted Jun 20, 2013Would it be possible to make it command block compatible? Such as:
/mc spawn (mob) (x) (y) (z)
I'd like to make a dungeon while making it spawn specific mobs. Being able to spawn them at certain coordinates would make it able to put the command in a command block. I know nothing about coding, but it shouldn't be too hard to add that.
Really hope you consider putting this in, would really help me out A LOT! Thanks!
