Description
- Have you ever wanted mcpvp's spawn protection plugin!? This plugin makes that possible! Set the spawn with /setspawn. Spawn is automatically protected from people placing and removing blocks unless they have the right permissions. Set the border of where /setspawn is. So if you set it to 10, Example: 0, 0, 0 would make the borders 10, 0, 0 and 0, 0, 10. Do not mess with anything other than World: and Border: in the config or you can mess things up!

jProtect.canBuild - Allow the players with this permission to place blocks in spawn.
jProtect.canBreak - Allow the players with this permission to break blocks in spawn.
jProtect.spawn - Allow the players with this permission to use /spawn.
jProtect.BordBy - Allow players with this permission to bypass the set world border!
Installation/Setup- Download Plugin:
- Put in plugins folder of server
- Start up server
- You now have mcpvp's spawn protection plugin!
- Done :D

Its because the list of players that have the spawn protection is saved in "virtual memory" and every time you reload or restart your server that memory gets cleared. Its not a bug, it how Java handles it.

That's not a bug :3 It's so people can't tp back to spawn to get spawnprotection. That's the same as people can't run back in spawn (they have lost spawnprot). If it wasn't for that,wel... the "point" of the plugin will be lost C:

Posted Sep 17, 2013I think this plugin is still slightly buggy. if you reload the server the plugin works fine and you cant break blocks in spawn or hit people or place blocks.but once you leave spawn and you type /spawn again it allows you to hit people still even tho you are meant to have spawn protection. n.n

Yah this is something I work on when I have time to update :P I do have a job coding for 3 servers tho so I do this in my spair time. Hopefully you enjoy it and enjoy the soon to come updates :)

Posted Sep 17, 2013Hey,i was hoping this plugin would have a setting in the config to delay the time of /spawn tp. like essentials. so it could take 5 seconds for the teleport to commence hopefully you can add this bro. anways im still using it :p.

It's buggy D: When you move out of spawn and go back in it you still have spawnpotection.. and you can't hit players when both of the players have lost spawnprotection. And /spawn gives internal error :3

You need a permissions plugin. I recommand PEX (PermissionsEX) and there you can put the permision nodes listed on the plugin page in this case I think its jprotect.spawn .
Permissions are hard until you get the idea :P

it says; an internal error occured while attempting to peform this command.
i think i need to code the permissions, but can you explain me how in a little guide?

Yes it does prevent pvp in spawn and protection of building and breaking in spawn.
