What is Prison?
Prison is a Minecraft plugin that adds all the features necessary for prison servers. Plugins for prison servers exist already, but many of them are poorly maintained, and the solid ones are paid resources. Prison eliminates the paywall and the updating hassle, and puts a one-stop solution in their place.

What can it do?
Prison has two main components - called modules - that are built-in: mines and ranks.

Mines

Create mines for players to collect materials.
Have mines automatically reset after a certain amount of time.
Interactively edit the composition of your mines.
Teleport your players to safety during a mine reset, so they don't suffocate.

Ranks

Create ranks for users to buy.
Use multiple rank ladders. For example, you could have a prestige ladder, or a donor ladder, etc.
Run commands when users rank up, to give them access to new permissions or set off fireworks in their place.
Show rank tags in chat with the help of a chat formatting plugin, such as EssentialsX-Chat.

Why should I switch to Prison?
If hassle-free updates and zero payments is not enough for you to consider switching to Prison, it doesn't stop there.

Prison is modular. If you don't want to use a certain feature on your server, you can disable it in just a few keystrokes.
Prison is completely, 100% open source. This means that your developers can make changes to the plugin to customize your server's experience, if you so desire.
Prison is and always will be free. While we do ask for donations, all of our code, resources, and binaries are provided free of charge to the Minecraft community.
New releases are heavily bug-tested. We test every single aspect of every new release of Prison before releasing it to the community. If a release doesn't pass our rigorous update checklist, it is iterated upon until it does. What does this mean for you? Solid updates with minimal bugs for your server.
Prison is always expanding. We are always looking for ways to expand Prison with features that make your server run more smoothly. Additionally, we are always looking for contributions from the community, be it code contributions, feature requests, bug reports, translations, or documentation.

Little OCD problem: Can you make it so that if the number is equal to 1 it'll use minute instead of minutes.

Check to make sure you have an established internet connection. If you are using a server hosting service, ask if port 8080 is open (they'll know what that means).

Here's a good way to check if my plugin can connect to the internet: just type /prison update. If it runs successfully (meaning it tells you there are no updates or alerts you of an update), you have an internet connection. Otherwise, you don't.

for some reason the prison mines wont reset after like few resets, trying to use /mines reset command and it gives this error on every mine:

Sorry to be bombarding you with problems but now it seems like I cannot install any more plugins to my server even if I wanted to. When I add new plugins Prison seems to break and I get a message similar to this in the console:

Some plugins that I tried to install are:

Citizens
ShopKeepers
OtherDrops
SignEdit
ScoreBoardStats
DropToInventory

I don't know anything about coding but a lot of these plugins I want to add seem to conflict with Prison.

Does this plugin provide the /block command that I'm using? If it does it seems to blockify lapis lazuli into lazuli block and whatever lapis is left turns into regular ink sac (black). Best of luck on future updates, great plugin if I didn't mention it before. Thanks!

Currently this plugin has a feature that warps them to the top location, but it's extremely buggy. I am working on a better method to return your players to safety. For now, inform them of this issue and make use of reset warnings to alert them that they should move to a safe location.

If you are getting the message "Please wait for the Item Manager to load...", here is the explanation: The Prison webserver is getting DDoSed. We will hopefully be back soon.

Is it possible to set up a mining start location so that when the mine resets they will return to the specified location? My players seem to get stuck inside when the mines reset and only SOMETIMES will they float up to the top.

This plugin is very nice, im looking to see a language file as next update to configure messages. If you could add that feature, it would be nice. :)

I keep getting an error every few seconds in the console saying
