What is MassiveCore?

MassiveCore is a Bukkit plugin that contains components the MassiveCraft developers use for developing other Bukkit plugins:

ItemStack and Inventory serialization
Commands
Plugin Integration
Data storage with JSON
Disc IO
… and much more …

Install

Stop your server.
Put MassiveCore.jar in your plugins folder.
Start your server again.

Plugins Using MassiveCore

Internet Connections

MassiveCore sends anonymous usage statistics to bstats.org when your server starts and downloads the latest sponsor configuration file from massivecraft.com hourly. You can disable these internet connections by setting "metricsEnabled" and "sponsorEnabled" to false at the very bottom of the main configuration file.

My folder for mcore isn't spawning everything in it all it spawns is the conf.josn

Hi guys, I have a double chat problem with mcore but I know how to fix it, the problem is that in the mcore folder, i only have the mcore/conf.json file, not the mcore_conf/instance file and I need that file to fix the double chat. I have the latest version.

Hello, getting constant Java.lang.outofmemoryerror: permgen space errors running the latest Factions/Mcore on Spigot followed by complete crash.

MCore is causing these plugins to fail, without MCore these plugins work fine.

not compatible with:
pluginmanager http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/pm-pluginmanager/
BungeeSuitePortals
bungeesuitechat
ShowCaseStandalone
******EDIT************
those were not causing the issue its just
PerWorldPlugins
http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/perworldplugins/
that is conflicting with mcore and causes all of the above plugins to crash.

Perhaps you made a typo in your configuration?

I'm starting to believe that 95% of the problems the users are having, are the fault of the users themselves. Setting this stuff up isn't rocket science, but it requires you to be at least somewhat cognizant. Developing costs time, effort and possibly money for these people. Don't command them to fix something that's probably YOUR fault. Check your Java version. Make sure you have the right plugin for your Craftbukkit build. Update your craftbukkit build. Learn what the errors in your console ACTUALLY mean. Try alternatives. Learn to problem solve; it's part of the learning process called Minecraft server administration :)

This and factions have not worked since 1.7. the 1.6.4 version work on my server but they dont allow disband without a internal error please help.

Wenevr you try to do a cpmmand on the 1.7 versions it says unknowncommand as if it isnt evn uploadrd

Mcore doesn't want to work with my sever, I get this error:

I've tried several different versions, including the correct one for 1.6.4, none of them working. This obviously means that factions isn't working either, but I thought I'd put that in as well.

Can anyone help?

Overloaded server somehow error mstore javalang out of data with 3 players on with 5 gig.... Still not bad you guys fixed a lot, Keep it up! :)

It would seem that you only have Java 6 but you need 7.

@DeadDragons

There should be a mstore folder that was created at the root of your server folder (where your server.properties is). In this folder, there are many different files used to store information for MCore based plugins (such as Factions).

MassiveCraft's website has instructions on how to configure any relevant MCore and Factions config files.

I load mcore and all the command are gone except for:

about, help, kill, me, pl, plugins, tell, ver, version

Server made unplayable after mcore update.

similar it seems with "franklin42" below

The 7.0.x version of mcore is for bukkit 1.7.x -> try it with the 6.9.1 version that is made for 1.6

I have a problem when I install the new version of mcore and creative gates in craftbukkit 1.7.2 other plugins stop working as authme reloaded, animals protect, etc. Are you for this? help please

i use herochat and it messes up my chat. it doubles it and i cant figure out how to stop it,
