Posted Jan 18, 2015Great new update. One question. How does one acquire one of these Skill Points? Sorry, I haven't downloaded the plugin yet. Just very interested in it so far.

Custom stats will require a hook from your plugin, I'm working on allowing those hooks. This merely allows the editing of your abilities, however there are expressed plans on making more once this gets more attention, and when development is mature.
For skills required, if you are a developer, add the mcMastery dependency, and then access the mcMasteryAPI.class (name subject to change) & use mcMasteryAPI.SKILL_HERE.getData(PLAYER_HERE).
However, if you are not a developer, I'm looking into possible ways to access custom entries in configuration file. Check my source for latest development.
@BucketConfigured
It's still in early development, the potential is not full to be showcased yet.
@aburt
Default setup is a great idea, I'm also planning to add some levels that increases skill points along the way. For what the skill actually does, its actually available in the latest version. Right now I'm sticking in this setup, it allows 8 steps of the abilities, however, if you updated you would find in the config.yml the "skill-step" variable, edit those to change the steps. I planned for an easy to use interface, however multi-interfaces might be available in the future.

Posted Jan 17, 2015A couple awesome features that could make this awesome. A default mastery setup so that new players that do not know of the feature yet will not have a huge advantage. I would also love to edit how many levels you can have. Another addition would be to have when you hover over the skill, you can actually see what the skill does.

Posted Jan 17, 2015I would love to see this system getting a feature where you could specify a certain level of skill required for a person to get a permission added, thereby simulating special abilities through Permissions. :D
And maybe an ability for custom stats? Like a Mana integer and such.
