Summary
MCHungerGames is actually quite simple! Just make your arena, add tributes, and go!
MCHungerGames is designed to make running Hunger Games-style events much easier. Sure, there are some nice servers and plugins that have achieved this, but they constantly require Moderators/Admins to be on, and paying attention.If you don't know what Hunger Games is look here for the series by Suzanne Collins, and here for the namesake fictional "Hunger Games" event

- Arenas that aren't limited to rectangles!
- Arena size based off it's radius, therefore sphere shaped arenas
- Force-fields around arenas!

- Realistic-Chat like features!
- Customizable spawnpoints for tributes
- Coundown when a game is started!
- Cannons fire when a tribute dies!
- Join command for players to join arenas by themselves

It doesn't protect the outside of arenas right now, but I could add that? I could possibly hook into WorldGuard if I have to, and add some protection.
Also the arenas are limited to spheres for now. I think I could add the option of cylindrical arenas.

Posted Apr 16, 2012Is the outside wall of the arena protected? If not can you make it so that if people have World Guard and World Edit it auto protects the outside? also can you make the wall stretch all the way down to bedrock and all the way up to max world height?

Yeah I'm still trying to figure that out. I would add many potential bugs, but I don't want people to miss out on that as a feature.
The problem is that some people want this plugin to work automatically, so that when a player joins the server and joins a game, they automatically are moved to a spot around the cornucopia. Of course the solution to this is to just add an option in the config, but yeah.

Posted Apr 16, 2012Hey guys the plugin's in Beta now!! It's getting near completion, and may be done next weekend :D
I've added a whole bunch of features now that it's fleshed out a little more. Right now the plugin should be stable and you should be able to play a test game or two on your server. Let me know if you want any feature that I haven't put in the "Things I want to add" section.

Posted Apr 8, 2012Hey guys, just updating! I'm still working on this plugin - i've been unfortunately busy lately. I wish I could just focus on projects like this, but I sadly can't. Anyways, I'm doing a big overhaul of the plugin in terms of coding so that I can make more sense of it. The previous versions were so close to working, but there were some runtime errors that kept on breaking the whole plugin!
