Summary

MCHungerGames is actually quite simple! Just make your arena, add tributes, and go!

MCHungerGames is designed to make running Hunger Games-style events much easier. Sure, there are some nice servers and plugins that have achieved this, but they constantly require Moderators/Admins to be on, and paying attention.If you don't know what Hunger Games is look here for the series by Suzanne Collins, and here for the namesake fictional "Hunger Games" event

Yeah I'm trying to replicate the chat problem. It worked fine in testing.

Hrm... That's a good point about the spawnpoints. I'll think about how to fix that!

And I think I'll do some more testing with permissions. Until now, I've only really been using OPs

This is coming along nicely however, I cannot set a tribspawn point unless the player is a tribute. That may sound okay to you but i would like to be able to set 24 points when no one is on. Then when they are assigned their id, they get taken to that spot. Next problem is permissions doesn't seem to work for me, i am using Permissions bukkit and they have the node - HG.arenas.join. Thanks!

When i disable tribute chat it works fine.

Also can u add how we are ment to format the chest.yml file =) cheers

After a bit of testing ive found the chat bug ins't a confliction of plugins but the Hunger Games plugin itself. I ran it on a plain server with no other add-ons/plugins and it still had the chat problem where it messed it up (As is the pm i sent you)

Could use the plugin ChestRestock to restock your chest also. http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/chestrestock/

When tributes are added, they automatically are assigned spawnpoints that are evenly spaced around the cornucopia. You can use "/hgae <arena> settribspawn <tribID>" to set a custom one (eg. "/hgae arena1 settribspawn 0" will set the spawnpoint of tribute with the ID of 0 to your location).

I think the single chest restock will probably happen before I make an all chest restock.

That sounds cool :D

A few more annoying words:

How does the per-tribute spawn points work?
How soon do you think we would be seeing an all chest restock being included?
Oh, and once this mod has the chest restock, I might do a YouTube video tribute to this mod, if that is alright with you.

The chest reset command has not been added yet, and neither have custom spawnpoints for the tributes. When those have been added (which I'll do soon) you should be good :)

Little confused: Ive read everything I can have I missed some thing. Im using Variedes Map. Has 24 Tubes. I would like to either be able to disable the teleport when I start the game or be able to setup where they spawn.

also, does the chest respawn work yet? Also Chest.yml what is an example of an item to be listed here?

Could you add that you are able to set the Spawn points yourself? Because I made the HungerGames map bigger, with 39 Places to start instead of 24.

I named the commands intuitively so that I could keep track of them as well as everyone else.

I was just thinking that I should add a chest reset command like that :D
Yeah, it has a countdown
I could add messages for day/night too...
Auto spawn mobs? Do you mean automatically spawn interesting mobs near the players?
You can see the players left by using /hga info, but yeah, I should add a players left message that goes off every now and then.
