MazeMania offers

How to use MazeMania and game types
MazeMania comes with two different modes, find items and make it to the exit or find the gold block. Most features such as the block type and item type can be configured. Make sure to specify in the config the game type you want. To setup the arena you must set the two bounding corners of the arena, such as world-edit; then you must set a spawn location and an exit location. The spawn location is the base area for random spawns and the exit location is used when finding and retrieving items.
Permissions:
mazemania.* - Allows you to use all the commands (Default: OP).
mazemania.admin - Allows the user to setup the maze (Default: OP).
mazemania.use - Allows anyone to use the maze (Default: anyone).
Admin Commands:
/maze set - Full commmandlist on how to setup the maze itself
/maze trigger - Full commandlist on how to setup triggers in the Maze.
/maze block - Full commandlist on how to setup triggers on BlockTypes in the Maze. (1.3.0)
Player Commands:
/maze - Will give Player Commands etc.
/maze join - Player will join the maze, if no maze is active a 20 second wait for other players is enabled (like a lobby) Although people can join at any time!
/maze leave - Player will leave the maze.

ToDo
- Automatic Updates.
- Add more effects to trigger, both beneficial and hurtful.
Add triggers to a blocktype and reuse that blocktype.
- Add option for players to keep spawning inside upon death, until game is ended. (planned)
- Add default chat for communicating inside game.
- Leaderboard.
Add option to give out money- and/or itemprrizes.
Add MaxPlayersAllowed

Thank you Themalkav for some very good additions to optimize MazeMania. We actually had a talk in the same range as you request on blocks, you just hit it on the nail to make it eay as hell to producs alot of triggers in less time.
Keep spawning until game has ended was the original idea, and should be there, I agree. Also we will do some tests on the randomspawn.
About the multiple Mazes I have to dissapoint you for now, as that was put as last prio unless downloads exploded and the demand for it was massive, but with time lets see.
I will comment later on how much of this can be done for next patch.

Posted Jul 7, 2012is there a way to set triggers en-mass. Meaning I'd like to just set lets say all Orange Wool as fire all Green Wool as poison all Red wool as Mobs all black wool as bolts
i Have a 250 x 250 maze and i kinda just want to set all pieces of a color as a type. Also the random spawn doesnt seem to random spawn anywhere in the maze. Plus can you make it so death doesnt end the maze. I want my players to have to spend a few hours pvp warring in the maze to win x amounts of gold nuggets then run to the end and secure the victory. Right now its to quick.
And maybe have more then one maze would be nice. like it saves to sepprate directoires or something. And i can have a lowbie maze and so forth.

I am very pleased to hear that you saw the extra range to this plugin. It came to me too while we developed it. I will talk to the guys about this update, and will be aiming for oploading a version with your request in it later today.

Posted Jun 29, 2012Hello, I'm very interested in using your plugin on our server but there is a slight feature request.
I intend to use the MazeMania plug in to create a gauntlet run style corridor with jumps and traps and such but I'd prefer it if I could make it so the maximum number of players that can play at a time is two. I've noticed there is a minimum number in the configuration but no max.
and again, if possible... could this be implemented before Sunday (1'st July) because our server will be hosting a live stream for Lobscast who will be playing our games. If you can, I will of course make sure he gives a shout out to your plugin. :)

Posted Jun 19, 2012@Ieatlego The game? There is so many factors that comes in play with that question, the maze itself can be made very hard to get through. Then you can add alot of trigger for competitors taking damage often, and last you can have som very pvp-happy competitors that likes the kills rather than finding the chest.
If your question was towards something else, please be a bit more specific for me.
@Adondriel Check if your config.yml is empty, if it is look in pages and add the text. Ofc. change what you want.
I will work on a setup-guide you can use tonight or tomorrow latest.

Sorry for the late answer, wasn't looking as nothing is released yet. We are currently doing tests on the core if the plugin and I gotta say, it is just just I imagined. Soon we should be able to release a beta for this page.
