Posted Apr 6, 2012Is there anyway you could fix the bug when crafting a map holding shift turns it into 'Map_0'

Posted Mar 31, 2012I found a bug. When you put more than 1 paper to sides, it uses them all.

Actually no its still broken, but I saw in a bug report someone mentioned a workaround to get the active recipe out of InventoryClickEvent via [((CraftingInventory) event.getInventory()).getRecipe()] and I worked from there.

Complete maps look like this http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/File:Complete_Map.png and incomplete maps look like http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/images/11/apr/maps.jpg , maps are only centered on you when you first craft them, and then get explored/'filled up' as you walk, but do not expand or shift, the center does not shift.
One of my "duplicated" maps has the same state as the original maps, and thus you can cooperatively explore an area to speed up its mapping as maps occupy a space of 1024x1024 blocks, or 64x64 chunks.
A friend of mine once explored the 2000x2000 blocks around our town by use of 4 maps, but without any way to duplicate them, his time was invested in just those 4 map items, so he couldn't "leave them in the public chest" for fear of thieving.

Posted Mar 12, 2012so you like comments? ok! here you go!!
im not shure what this plugin does. a map expands as soon as you enter an area right? and you can only see the area arount you. so if you copy a map, what use does it have, since you always have an complete world map...
