ManaBags
What is ManaBags?
ManaBags is a plugin that gives users the ability to expand on their inventory permanently with Magic Bags and Upgrades! With the power of Spout, each bag is crafted with new items and resources! Oh and a portable Crafting Table!
How does it work?
Each player has 4 Bag Slots. Each slot able to be accessed through the keys NUM 1, NUM 2, NUM 3, NUM 4. These keys are configurable!
When a player crafts a Mana Bag and uses it, it is put into the first free slot. Each Mana Bag grants one Single Chest worth of inventory space on key press and is safe from death drops.
When a player Crafts and uses a Diamond Weave Upgrade the first Slot with a Mana Bag is upgraded to a Diamond Weave Bag, granting that slot the space of a Double Chest!
Mana Chambers are double chests in 1 block that are capable of being stacked. They are impervious to explosions and Ender Dragons and look awesome! They even work with LWC!
Diamond Workbenches can be opened with Numpad 0 after they have been equipped!
Any admin wishing to enable separate bags for a specific world only needs to put the world name in the ManaBags/world.yml file. Each listed world will have a separate inventory for the players bag, not separate bag slots.

What are the recipes?
Custom recipes?
YES! Enable them in the config. The examples show you how they should be setup. ID-DATA for each item!
To see what the info on an item is, hold it in hand and use /whatisthis in game!
API?
YES! And the API is SIMPLE. Seriously can't mess this one up guys! The API also grants full NPC support!
Call,
ManaBagsAPI api = ManaBags.getManaBagsAPI();
then just do api.<whatever you need here>. It is non-static so your IDE can auto-complete. (Ease of use).

Commands

Make sure you do not have a stuck key or anything such as that. ALT+1 is not 1 in spouts eyes. Also keep in mind that lag will affect the speed in which it opens as well.

Has anyone else ran into a issue where the diamond weave upgrades don't work? No log/error or anything. Just nothing happens.

Completely understand that ppl get busy but you can understand that its frustrating when I have to put out fight between who stole who's stuff for a week while a ticket sits there unread right.

Posted Apr 11, 2012Think I found out why, I fixed it...I uploaded the file as a root, not as my user that activates bukkit was just a mistake, seems to work after I changed perms...Thanks for the sweet ass plugin ;)

Ok, I checked into this. ManaBags is not the cause.
It is an interaction between Spout and LWC. This happens with ALL custom spout items, regardless of the plugin. I tested this with 3 others, none of my own, all without ManaBags installed. It did the same thing.
I will talk to both to see if I cannot get this resolved, but take it up with them as well. There is nothing I can do short of forking one or both of them, and I hate to say but after the 15 I just forked for my servers, its not gonna happen lol.

um everything was good but now when I click 1,2,3,4 they dont open and I checked and I have the bags equipped! so something a lil funny is going on
Im not in creative it happened after I turned hardmode on...any ideas?
Just noticed I am finding these errors
Just tried on another account it works fine for them, but not me, but perhaps I should do a restart and see what happens. Cause it happened to me after I did the restart

I have several other projects, run two servers, and am porting 5 separate different mods to spout with a twist while inventing new securities and and a game while all trying to balance life and this past easter. I tend to get busy.
HOWEVER, I do know the cause and I will resolve it asap. Is it just the bench?

Guess the faster way to get a resolution is to cause a lil panic. Holding a manaworkbench a player can open any LWC protection, pretty nasty bug and I've been trying all night to prevent it with permissions. Even that it just ignores.

PvPArena and MobDungeons are now using Inventory Events to Check if your own Inventory is open or anther one. f anotherones you will be not able to Change the palce from a ITem...it will autopup back after try to take it. So well it works now even without your api :)

I can assure you that that is completely and utterly incorrect exactly how you explained it. I have tried every possible key combination the way any player would and have been completely unable to even manage to change a single item.
I am very positive that if what you say is true that it is because of something not included in this plugin causing bad interactions.
As another note not a single other person has had this problem and I run two server using this completely with out issue from any sort of bug. Plugins that change the interactions with chests should not be used with this unless they are supporting it or working properly.

because we run a strict economy, our players always manage to find ways of exploiting our system.
Manabags allows anyone to duplicate their manabag content 1 for 1 by simply adding a new key to your spout shortcuts.
I have decided that, as cool as your plugin recipes are, they are just not safe yet and will be using the origibak BCbackpack to replace it.

Sorry have been a bit tangled up with the new mmo I have been developing.
They need to support me. It is to difficult for me to manage every plugin that modifies inventory (especially with how iffy inventory modification can be in the first place!). I supply a robust and easy to use API that allows them to deny/allow use of manabags for any player at any time with only a very few lines of code.

Only just saw the thing about drops:
Not an issue for us - we use Craftbukkit + +, which groups drops into item stacks so massively reduces the amount of physical drop entities related to items. I'll subscribe so I can get that when its available :)
