MagicalSpells is a plugin that allows users to craft wands from materials and cast the spells available to that wand. It is fully configurable and people can create their own custom wands and spells. This video will show you the basics:

Description
MagicalSpells is a plugin that allows the users to cast magic and craft wands whenever they want. It lets them collect the correct materials for a specific wand, craft the wand and then cast spells using that wand. It can be configured to disable magic in worldguard zones, undo the explosions and damage to the environment, change the cost, cooldown, size and range of each spell and even create your own spells and wands.

Reporting Bugs
Post the bug here In it include the error (if there is an error), your config.yml (if edited) and settings.yml(if edited), what you were doing at the time (what command,spell,wand...), what version you're using, and if possible what other plugins you have (optional).

I have a request: Darker then dark magic, With some new features my players requested. Here's what they came up with: A wand which allows you to steal human souls. So you get this "soul" (Some configurable block) which will heal you when you have low hp. And maybe a spell to controll mobs? ( Not sure if that would be possible) But like you point a wand and the mob goes to that place.

Atm, you can edit the size,range and cost of a spell. And create your own ones by using multiple handlers, However, if your talking about coding your own spell, i haven't added that feature yet.

Diamond or iron would work, any tool in fact. And you can change the enchantment to that, just make the enchantment level 5 or above so the person cant create it in an enchanting table.

Your permissions aren't correct. The wandlist only displays wands the user has the permission to craft.

Posted Jul 25, 2012i have a couple quick questions. is makeing a gold helm with enchantment PROTECTION_ENVIRONMENTAL allowed? because i wanted to check to make sure that crafting a gold helm, enchanting it, then having the enchant be protection wouldnt turn it to a wand or something. also in your default config, every wand is golden. can i make wands that dont hold a golden item? would diamond or iron work?

Just try and find one that flters out tabs, the important thing in yaml is that tabs casue it to crash, you have to use spaces.
And with the next update, i've added the ability to have wand specific cost items.

To get the original working config, just delete the config and reload the plugin. And the first thing you should do is run the edited config through the yam parser to check for small errors.

Posted Jul 23, 2012@squish @sarge Yes I realized I must have done something wrong but before I tried to edit it I copy pasted it as it was I case I jacked something up. And i did, so I deleted the hole file And pasted the original and he same error showed up. I'll try one more time and if I encounter a problem I try the yml reader.

Its an error you've made while editing the config. Read the settings page, run the config through a yaml parser and post it here if you need additional help

Posted Jul 22, 2012Hi, I love this plugin but I have been encountering some Problems. Problem #1 when I type the command to see all available wands. There is nothing, it's blank. Problem #2 spells 'stop existing' I tried to make one new spell and then it said spell doesn't actually exist or somthing like that. so I tried another spell, same thing. Like half the spells just stop working. Please help. I had big plans for this plugin. And if I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong then I'll be quite sad.
