Metrics Collection
This plugin uses bstats for metrics collection. The information sent to bstats.org is completely anonymous, publicly viewable, and includes the following metrics:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true, or by editing this plugin's config.yml and changing "metrics_level" to 0.

That's awesome thank you so much :) ! It was really fast.
Nathan I have a question. Let's say a player use a common wand who posses 4 spells and both the wand and spells doesn't have any kind of progression. The player would get stuck with those spells unless he finds another wand, right? And even if he adds spells to a wand, if he uses a different one those spells are not available since they are stuck ij the other wand isn't it? Unless he combines them of course.

I think that message you're getting is because you're getting an error or something, it's not really got anything to do with placing a marker. You may want to check your server logs for errors, when I tested it myself I simply got no menu.
To place a marker you aim down and cast Recall, but I suspect this is not your actual problem!

Posted Apr 21, 2016Where can you Place a marker again? I did it before one time, but i did it by casting Warp menu on a command Block. When i cast Warp menu on a command Block it doesn`t work. it keep saying "can`t Place a marker there". It should say something about how to Place it or where.

Posted Apr 18, 2016Nathan, the blade won`t get out for me. i press Q and the spell menu opens, no blade comes out. Plus i saw that guy on potterworld moved With the blade out. How is that possible? like, you can`t move when u have that menu open.

Press Q to open th spell inventory like with wands. The blade shows while the spell inventory ("force powers") are active.

Aparecium is in the potter configs, it is more or less the same as EMP from the survival configs. See here for how to use the potter configs if that's what you're after:

Magic respects PVP flags for various plugins, you can globally disable PVP with WorldGuard for instance. When making a dueling area, simply allow PVP in just that area.
For finer control, you can use the WGCustomFlags plugin and block specific (or all) spells in a region.
Magic also respects build settings, so Blast for instance is not usable in a area where the player isn't allowed to break blocks.

Posted Apr 16, 2016And another thing i saw on potterworld is when you`re in for example greathall, the spells won`t do any damage on players or not even effect the buildings. So if you use blast there, it won`t destroy Hogwarts. So how do you stop players to kill each other all the time? Like making dueling areas and stuff. When you`re in a class it tells you if you`re casting that Magic isn`t allowed in this area or class. So is it any commands or something to use? please help me.

Posted Apr 16, 2016All right I guess I can try. Can you tell me the respective pnodes for both things? Thinking about it, it's too hard to add that functionality to the plugin? I'm talking about the pnodes for regular wands. It would open a few windows and opportunities since they could be used just by certain groups. By OP you mean a wand like the wolf or just a regular wand with augments?

I don't have per-wand permissions, so best you can do is give them VIP spells, or give them an OP wand (powered/protected) since there are pnodes for those.
(Now's the part where I nag and warn you that giving donators items like wands may get you into a lot of trouble with the EULA)
And no, players are not meant to have /cast or any other command in Magic. If the other plugin supports running as console, that's your best bet- then you don't have to give perms to players, just have it run "/castp {player} missile" or whatever.

Posted Apr 15, 2016Hi Nathan! I was wondering, how can I make "VIP" wands? Like, wands that only certain players (donators, builders, special groups, etc) can use and no one else can? Is there any setup that I'm missing or maybe I have to use some kind of permission node? I don't know but I'm REALLY interested into this.
Also, is there any command that players can use besides "/cast"? I'm evaluating the option to try to use another plugin that uses Magic commands (/cast in this case) to use spells. By default, players can't use "/cast" and I don't want to give them that permission. So is there any other way to use a similar command or make "/cast" not so dangerous?

Ah, ok- yes you can, you just have to customize the spell and add warps to it.
